I think I OV'd either yesterday or today so I'll join you!

I have a really good feeling about this month but not sure I should be allowing myself to get my hopes up!

How are you doing today?

I'm 1dpo today so I with you. Fingers crossed for a BFP for Christmas.

@Jayjane79 yeah I think with the timing, AF is due to arrive on Boxing Day, for me at least. Hopefully plenty of distractions to stop me obsessing during the tww! Won't stop me from testing early though no doubt!

I was so chill last month, I hardly spent anytime reading posts and only really thought about things when I was 8dpo or so. But this month is a completely different story, I think it is the thought of getting a BFP around Christmas Day that is making me a bit loopy!

Today should have been my ovulation day according to Flo app. It would have been CD14 but I took period delay tablets this month and now kicking myself for it. Pushed my cycle back and I think now I’m only on CD9 and still waiting for my peak on the OPKs.

I got an early Christmas gift from my dad today. It is a lovely embroidered shirt but is way way too big for me. Instead of thinking to exchange it I thought 'oh it could be a lovely maternity shirt'! 🤦‍♀️

We are ttc #1, third cycle after an early miscarriage back in July and I don't know what to do with myself!

I had a MC last month so I'm CD19 from the start of the bleeding, bleeding stopped CD9 i ovulated CD18 according to my peak opk the morning of CD17. I was told to wait a cycle in-between but I'm not lol. I'd be over the moon with a BFP on Christmas day. Fingers crossed for us both. I will spend a fortune on tests I'm not even going to kid myself.

I totally wouldn't have waited either but we got married in September so we held off just so we could relax and enjoy the wedding. Started again as soon as we got back from our honeymoon!

I will also be spending a fortune on FRERs. I have some cheapies too but if I test with them I always wonder if the result would be different on a FRER and so retest with a FRER anyway!

When i fell pregnant last month I found the cheap tests at home bargains were just as sensitive as the FRER. The ones that are 2 for 99p, I couldn't believe it. I will get a few of those in this time and see how it goes.

Hi everyone. Can I join? Only just in the tww too and already driving myself crazy😂 I also had a miscarriage recently - had the ERPC in October and a painful period 24th November following a longer cycle than normal at 35 days. If I’ve gone back to normal cycle (of 30 days) which I’ll be expecting AF around Xmas eve. Are we all trying to hold out for a missed period until testing?
@Jayjane79 those cheap tests sound good will have to give those a go! Buying frer all the time works out so expensive

@SurfWaves nice one for managing to BD. It's so hard to fit it in sometimes but at least you know you've done all you can for this month!

@frenchie4002 I definitely won't be holding out for a missed period. I just can't keep away from those tests! Are you going to try and hold out?

In my last and only pregnancy I got sore boobs around this time (4dpo) and I know it is way too early for pregnancy symptoms and the logical part of my brain knows that every pregnancy can be different but I feel a bit deflated today.

My temp has increased after OV but it's a much lower jump than last month, only 0.1C, hopefully it'll go up a bit more. This is only my second cycle temping so I don't have much to compare it to.

I wish I could but I don’t think I’ll be able to! Going to wait as long as I can though. I’m a teacher so busy finishing up the term for the next few days then having a weekend away so won’t be testing until Monday 20th earliest but will try and hold out a bit longer. I know what you mean about symptom spotting. I had no symptoms pre bfp last time, just AF like cramps a week before. I feel like you become more in tune with your body though whilst ttc which is a blessing and a curse! Every twinge I’m like OMG what’s that?!

Haha @frenchie4002 it's too true!! I can't believe I was so oblivious all of this before starting ttc, people just don't tend to talk about it. I'm so glad to have found these chats, otherwise I think I might be worried about my sanity!
