Period following IVF Egg collection

Hello!
So we’ve been going through the IVF process, we had our egg collection on 8th November, due to having 27 eggs collected we had to do a freeze all and wait 3 months before our FET!
I had my withdrawal bleed on 13th November so according to my glow app I should have been due on again on 9th December as my cycle is generally 26-28 days …
So it’s now the 12th and still no period, I don’t even feel like I’m coming on anytime soon?
We did BD a few times but considering we’ve been TTC for 3 years and have had to resort to IVF I’m not concerned about pregnancy but will do a test next week just to be sure!
Realistically, how long should I wait before speaking to my clinic to explain my period hasn’t shown yet?

@Hayleigh00
I would do a test surprise things can happen lol good luck how you find the ivf I'm on top of list for mine so just waiting on my acceptance letter so should not be long. After 4 miscarriages and 1 cp hoping to get a sticky one. Good luck with everything.

Presumably you had a hCG trigger shot? It can delay things a few days, as will any progesterone if you had it after collection
Even if you didn’t have progesterone supplements, you have 27 corpus lutums releasing progesterone so probably have higher levels than after a usual cycle

I would be very surprised if you could be pregnant, because they literally removed all the eggs from you.
Unless they really messed up (and it doesn’t sound like they did if they collected 27), there won’t have been any eggs left to have conceived with, so I can’t see how it could be a surprise

@Babyghirl I’m going to just to rule it out completely! I found the IVF surprisingly ok, the hardest part for me was the last few days leading up to collection, because I was so jam packed with follicles so it got quite uncomfortable, going for a wee even hurt at that point because of all the pressure! Egg collection for me wasn’t pleasant but I apparently have a very high tolerance to the sedation drugs which didn’t help haha! I had 0 pain after egg collection and managed to avoid OHSS so all in all I really can’t complain!! If you get prescribed Fyremadel injections make sure you hold ice on the area for as long as possible before injecting, as no one told me it’s known as the injection of fire so ice is absolutely your best friend with it! Good luck with yours and I hope you get seen super soon!!

@Sparechange My trigger shot was changed to buserelin to lower the risk of OHSS which I don’t believe is a HCG one is it? I could be wrong! No progesterone supplements as it was a freeze all decided on egg collection today I never started any extra medication after that, just not sure how late is acceptable before speaking to the nurses!
