I got a vvfp this morning, so faint I'm too scared to announce to hubby yet. If I took another test this afternoon would it be darker?

No because you would have had something to drink so it would be harder for the test to detect HCG as it would be more diluted. Test again using FMU in a couple of days.

Congrats! What test did you use this morning, if not a FRER you could try one of those as it's more sensitive.

I found my afternoon tests better, but that was on a hold of about 4 hours due to being busy at work and never getting a minute to myself x

My afternoon test was darker but I think it was because my wee was more concentrated. To be on the safe side I would try again in the morning with a really sensitive test :) best of luck to you OP.

My 5pm tests were best after no drinks or wees for a good four hours
