Letrozole&Trigger Shot anyone else?

Hi, its my 3rd cycle of letrozole and first with trigger shot. 1st cycle was successful but ended in a mc. Im 5 dpo currently and still getting faint positives due to the trigger shot, from what ive read it takes up to 10 days to leave the body... Anyone else in the same position? it'd be nice to go through this with people who understand..
Thank you in advance❤️

Hi @Rose253 Smile
I am on my third cycle of both, and I have had faint lines on every test day which have got lighter and disappeared. Quite heartbreaking but I assume it could be the trigger. I have to be reviewed this cycle if it happens again because usually the trigger shot is gone in 10 days, as you said.
Sorry about your first cycle. I hope this one is your sticky one 🤞🏼❤️
I've been on quite a long and soul destroying journey to get to this point (3 MCs and a misdiagnosed mc which ended up being an ectopic resulting in a ruptured and now lost tube) so I hope the letrozole and trigger cycles work soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼

hey @myrainbowjourney😘, sorry to hear anout your mcs and awful misdiagnosis! It is really heartbreaking when you go through all that and have to start from scratch again.. but here you are and stronger than ever I hope. I really hope you get the best outcome this month, you really do deserve it🤞🏻 how many dpo are you?
so glad Ive found someone on a similar journey, hopefully we can get through the tww together❤️

@Rose253 it is really lovely to have someone going through it - thanks for starting the the thread 🥰

I'm definitely a bit more positive than before as at least something is being done to help - before I started this I was under the 'just keep trying' method and it just wasn't happening, not successfully anyway.

I find it really tricky in the TWW because the trigger I presume gives symptoms, even more so than pre-period. I'm having to try to ignore everything and try not to get my hopes up!

We are at the same point, I'm 5dpo too. I had my trigger shot on Thursday so that's assuming I ovulated Friday.

Fingers crossed for both of us this cycle. You absolutely deserve it too ❤️❤️

I totally get what you mean, that was like me. I was using opks and temping and I would go months without a period I knew I had PCOS but then did my own research and decided to get proper help. This is my first month with the trigger shot and my god😅 I have had the worst vivid dreams and back pains, so its very confusing. I defo ovulated friday as I went for a scan and the follicle had ruptured so still got around 9 days left. I used a pregnancy test earlier and its ALOT lighter so I hope within a few days it goes so it doesnt get confusing...

@Rose253 I'm glad you went and got some support. It's so important to listen to your body and intuition and go with your gut. So easy to be fobbed off otherwise.

Let's hope those signs are the real deal and not the trigger. I feel hopeful for you!

Rose253 · 08/12/2021 22:54

@myrainbowjourney I really hope so🤞🏻 Im trying to find things to do to pass the time, doesnt help when I have annual leave from work😂

@Rose253 that usually makes time go quicker for me.

Have you decided when you'll test yet?

Rose253 · 08/12/2021 23:09

@myrainbowjourney erm its been 7 days since trigger shot and still faint positive so going to wait till Saturday which is 10 days post trigger, hopefully it'll give me a negative because I'll only be 8dpo and I think thats tooo early for a positive. I'm going to try holding off till Tuesday around 11/12 dpo, I say TRY as I get crazy and addicted to testing😂 how about you?

@Rose253 it's so hard to wait isn't it! I am going to try and wait until weds or Thursday next week as I don't want the faint line hopes dashed again.
So probably Monday 🤣🤣 (joke!)

Rose253 · 08/12/2021 23:29

@myrainbowjourney I always talk myself out of it, my husband thinks im mental by this point😂 I get the easy@home set which comes with like 20/25 tests, so I've made husband hide them this time before they go 'missing'🙄
