Hi everyone,

This is my first time posting and also my first pregnancy! I am quite early in the journey, around 6 weeks so all very very surreal still. I have been diagnosed with PCOS and since coming off the pill last November have been taking the Infolic Alpha sachets 2x day, as my gynaecologist recommended these (I ended up having to pay for a private consultation with her as my GP was adamant my bloods were okay). As I’m so new to the pregnancy game, I was wondering if any of you have any recommendations about supplements during pregnancy. I was hoping to continue the infolic but I know vitamin D/magnesium etc is also recommended. Most of the pregnancy vitamins have folic acid included, which I’m already getting through the sachets, and I don’t want to overdo it. I think I’ve spun this into a much bigger thing than it is, but any help would be super appreciated!

Thank you

Hi @Bowie11 I don't have pcos but wanted to say that you can't overdo the folic acid, whatever your body doesn't need will be peed out. I am taking 5mg as opposed to the normal 400mcg, prescribed by my doctors so don't worry about taking too much :)
