CoEnzyme Q-10 and fertility

Squiff70 · 07/12/2021 21:41

About 10 days ago I started taking CoEnzyme Q-10, bought from H&B. It was ridiculously expensive but like everything, worth it if it works.

Does it really improve egg and sperm quality? I'm 39 so figured I could use all the help I can get.

Anyone have any thoughts on it please, or am I wasting my money?

Is it the Solgar one you bought? If so that one should be good. I'm past this stage now so I'm a bit rusty (previously I was right where you are and into all the supplements etc) but from memory you need to make sure it's ubiquinol rather than the other version (forgotten name) that you're taking. Solgar brand is the right stuff but yes very expensive. I found cheaper but good stuff on Amazon.
Can never say 100% what worked, and of course I was trying a million other things too but I eventually got my baby x

I have just recently started using Kaneka Ubiquinol, so let’s see. Many women say you need to take them at least 3 months so it would start working. Who knows 🤷‍♀️Trying to be hopeful.

Thank you both for your replies. Totally forgot I'd posted this thread! I was taking normal Co-Q 10 but stopped on Sunday when I realised I was pregnant.

I've started taking it recently for my skin as it is supposed to be good for it. I didn't know it boosted fertility, even better as I am not ruling out another child!

Congratulations :) what's the guidance on it when pregnant? I've been taking it since July xx
