Pink spotting, late AF, when to test?

Hi ladies, I’m new here so apologies I am not familiar with the lingo but I am hoping someone with a bit more experience might be able to help.

We are TTC #1 and I’m on day 35 of my cycle with no AF in sight. I am really confused when I should test here... so some detailed info:

My cycle varies from 31-33 days. Had sex on the 18th November. Very light spotting (bleeding) from the 2-5th December. It was pink, egg white like. Never had this in my life.

Today the spotting has stopped completely 6th December. I did a test yesterday morning and BFN.

Im so confused what is going on here because I’ve never had spotting or bleeding like this before? Is there still a chance I am pregnant Hmm

Hi @Cupcakee Its possible that you ovulated a little later than usual. If you had pink tinged EWCM then its possible you were about to ovulate as the mucous sounds fertile. Some people bleed a little when the ovulate. Its possible it was implantation bleeding, and you could be testing too early but IB is very rare.

Equally if it was implantation bleeding it might just be too early to test. Give it another few days. Unless you’re tracking temps, I always think keep having sex until your period arrives, as otherwise you can’t be certain you ovulated.
