How many days early did you test for BFP?

6 or 7 days early now depending on which app I look at

Some tests say up to 6 days...

@BiscuitLover3679 the apps are notoriously useless at predicting ovulation. Do you know when you ovulated? Did you have any other indicators of ovulation (fertile CM, high soft open cervix, a temperature increase for 3+ days?)

In answer to your question though, I tend to test at between 10-14 DPO usually (so 0-3 days early)

I would have thought the apps are wrong tbh. If you have a positive test then you’re pregnant but ovulation date (or the date you think you ovulated) means absolutely nothing in reality because they won’t take that into account when you get your EDD at the 1st scan

I tested at 10DPO and my period was due at 13DPO but as pp says the tests have no idea when you ovulated or how long your luteal phase is so take the '6 days early' thing with a pinch of salt!

I always just waited til I missed a period even if I was sure I was pregnant. Never had a negative pregnancy test with this method! Much less disappointing IMO.

I got a BFP at eight days and seven days before my period was due with my pregnancies. Not sure of the DPO.
