Hello,

This is just a post to help any of you out there trying to decipher your clear blue tests that have shown a thin blue line after the 10 mins. I'm sure some may go on to be positive but from all the research I've done it's very unlikely!! I took a test in the evening at 9DPO and the results came up after about an hour and then the one in the morning 10DPO came up after 15 minutes and because it developed quicker I convinced myself I was pregnant. Researched all day about it and looked for all the positive stories (found very little) and then tested last night and this morning (now 11DPO) and all tests were BFN - not even a hint of a line this time on clear blue or first response!!

I've attached a picture of the dodgy tests so you can compare your own!

Obviously I know I'm still a couple of days out from AF and if it comes up pregnant I take it all back but at this point I'm very doubtful as my previous pregnancies all had BFPs at 7/8DPO. I'll keep you updated when AF shows up as I'm sure she's about to rear her ugly head!!

Xx

I have a similar situation at the minute. Tested 10DPO after some light bleeding and got the faintest positive line you could imagine (I didn’t even notice it at first). Tested in the morning got a thin blue line after about 4/5 minutes. Tested this morning and completely negative :( now I don’t know what to think. My line does go all the way from top to bottom but I’m still unsure

Email the manufacturer and get a refund.
They were very easy to deal with ime.

@Littlebun1 Yes I would love to know your update. Having a similar situation but using one step tests. They were faint positives within the a couple of minutes for a few days in a row. Yesterday got an ultra early clear blue and it was a BFN and this morning was negative within the time frame but a pink line came up after 30mins. Can't seem to get any FRER near me, all seems sold out, so will just try and be patient.

Just thought I'd give you all an update. AF arrived this morning 😢

Hope it's not the case for all of you and you got the real positives you wanted!

@Littlebun1 very sorry to hear that. Mine is the same :( . I’m disgusted that Clear Blue give false positives like that and apparently it happens a lot! I won’t be using them again! Finger crossed for you next cycle xx

Clear blues get a thin line after the test time, with clear blues positive lines are thicker lines. Truly hope you get your bfp soon.

Eh in my experience I've had thick lines within the timeframe that were false positives with clearblue. I'll never ever use their tests again unless digital, the false hope shattered me after a miscarriage a few months prior. Took another year to finally get pregnant
