Just fallen down stairs - will it affect ovulation?

I’m currently ovulating and we have just DTD. I then proceeded to trip down the stairs šŸ™„ landed on the floor at the bottom, on my bum. It was a hard landing and I’ll probably have a few bruises.

My question is, can this affect the ovulation? I have visions of my egg rupturing or popping on the sperm now getting confused and going in the wrong direction šŸ™„

I fell down the stairs round about the time I conceived my 3rd and he's absolutely fine. Hope you get pregnant. Grin

Thanks the reassurance. I can’t believe I was so clumsy. I’ve got a massive bruise developing on my backside and it’s really sore. We’ve been TTC for the best part of the year and I’ll be heartbroken if it means a month wasted.

Maybe it will help everything bounce together? I’m sure it will be fine: remember what’s happening is happening at a microscopic level. If you’ve already ovulated, a fall won’t disturb the egg or the sperm from doing their thing. If you haven’t yet ovulated, the shock might delay ovulation but then it would just happen later – so keep having sex. Maybe no bum slaps on your bruise though.
