Faint line - positive or..?

I've now convinced myself that I'm pregnant after testing at 10 DPO and 11 DPO (FRER and a cheepie). I've tested again this morning (12 DPO) and the line is still faint but definitely visible (photo taken at around 5 min mark). I always thought that "a line is a line" and it's positive regardless of how faint it is, as long as it appears within the timeframe. But my husband is not convinced and keeps telling me that he won't believe it until the test line is as dark as control. Am I going mad or is he wrong? I will of course keep testing anyway as I know it's early days!

Definitely see a line! Congratulations. I had my BFP Saturday and it was faint but much darker today (14dpo) xx

My test line never got as dark as control, currently 17 weeks and I've seen baby on scans multiple times. He could be waiting a while.. 🤣

That is 100% a line. If it will help both of you I really recommend getting a clearblue digital test. It says it there in words :)

That's definitely a line and looks dark enough you should get a 1-2 weeks on a digital x

Thanks everyone, that's reassuring and I think I managed to convince my husband that it's real! But I also started spotting this evening which I guess is not a good sign.. but hoping for the best!
