Positive then lighter since...

I had this positive on Friday night (first pic) have tested since and all are super super squinters/giving me major line eyes!!! (First test in second pic is the same test from first pic just dried) my period is 9 days late. FRER completely negative. This is eating up me so much I just want some clarity :(

It looks like either the first test was dodgy or it’s a chemical. Sorry either way op

Can you really get a false positive from a test being dodgy? Obviously I don't have any hope but just baffled!

It happens all the time with clearblue tests and if you look on reviews for cheap tests you’ll find similar reviews, even frers have awful indents which look like positives. Sometimes they are evaps or indents or dye runs. It’s best to test with a few different brands to see a positive I think
