I've just started to measure bbt in order to know when I ovulated, have you found it easy and reliable? Can you tell when you're about to ovulate with a dip in temperature? Any help is much appreciated

Easy and reliable yes (on the assumption you do it correctly! Lots of ladies on here seem to do it a bit haphazardly) - especially if you're using fertility friend the app to track with.

You can't however predict ovulation with it, you'd need to be using opks for that. BBT is purely to confirm that you have ovulated, but it's after the fact.
