I'm very confused by my cycle this month. I usually have an approx 27-28 day cycle and ovulate on CD15-CD16 with an 11-12 day luteal phase, but I do sometimes have shorter cycles (24-25 days). This month, it looks from my temp rise that I ovulated on CD12, although I got my positive OPK (CB static smiley) with FMU on CD13. I think therefore it's likely that I ovulated very late on CD12 or very early on CD13. I do usually have a short LH surge, so the positive OPK on CD13 could have been left over from the night before.
Therefore, I was expecting AF on Sunday. My temp did drop a little on Sunday and more yesterday, so I was pretty sure AF would be here soon. But my temp has gone back up today and still no AF.
I did a Boots early detection test on Sunday (DPO13) and it was negative. I'm now DPO15 and a bit afraid to go out and buy another test in case it's another BFN. I was so hopeful this month when my temp was still so high on DPO12, as usually it has fallen by then. So I was very disappointed on Sunday when my temp fell and I got the BFN. I just don't know whether reaching DPO15 and today's temp should let me get my hopes up again, or whether it is likely just a meaningless blip.
What do people think?
@Hopefulhedgehog @Juno231 I hope you don't mind me tagging you, but I know you're both BBT experts so would really appreciate your thoughts
I'm thinking if my temp is high again tomorrow morning and still no AF, I'll test again. I just don't want to get my hopes up and be disappointed.
