High LH for 5 days

Hi guys,

I have recently started my TTC journey and so I’ve been tracking my ovulation with easy at home ovulation strips. This cycle I started to get high results from cycle day 14 which peaked in the evening. The OPK’s stayed high (not peak but still very high) until cycle day 17 before getting to low. I am so worried if this is normal because I just started my period which is always a huge disappointment. I had EWCM from cycle day 10 and had cramping on day 15 after my peak OPK (cramping was quite severe this time too)

I am now worried about LUF syndrome? Is long LH surge a sign that I am not ovulating? Was my cramping a sign that my body was trying to ovulate but couldn’t? Losing sleep over it as I thought this was my cycle. Was having a lot of good symptoms pointing towards pregnancy :( any advise would be greatly appreciated

I haven't heard of LUF syndrome myself however just wanted to say that I also get a long string of high OPK readings before a peak and do ovulate as I track my temps which confirms it. I also get strong ovulation cramps on the day of it. Have you considered temping to put your mind at ease and confirm ovulation?

Hi there, yes I have decided to track temp from this cycle, however I read that with LUF everything looks normal from outside so can’t really tell if ovulated or not. My mind is going through all sorts of scenarios 😭

@Hani102
Can tou temp along with the opks that will tell you if you have ovulated.
