DH and I have been ttc for 6 months. The first 3 I don't think I was able to conceive as I was on progesterone only pill which stopped my periods and I didn't get a period for 3 months after I came off the pill.

So really it's been 3 months of trying and getting pregnant being a possibility. I know it's not long. But still, I got my period 2 days ago and now I'm thinking I now have an entire month to wait before seeing if I'm pregnant next time!

How do you stand the wait each month when you get your period and have to start all over?

No advice but I’m place marking as I’m struggling too and only just entered the third cycle. Yesterday I was in tears when I got a BFN because I’d convinced myself I was pregnant. I conceived our first child straight away so naively thought TTC a second time would be the same.

It is really hard but if you can try to not sucked into too much fertility chat and research early on I think that helps. Try to focus on the fact that its perfectly normal to take around 12 months to conceive.
I also found the wait was when we had the best sex when we were ttc- definitely nice to not have the pressure!

It's frustrating, isn't it? All I can suggest is trying to find other things to focus on - enjoy your interests, hobbies, work, family and try not to fixate too much on the 'goal', think of it as a journey and enjoy this part of it for now.
