TTC December thread

This part is nearly as bad as the TTW - waiting for AF to be over and to be able to crack on!

By my calculations we'll all know before Christmas if the next cycle has been a success for us - so hopefully either way happiness or sadness there will be lots of opportunities for lovely family time x

Hey everyone, this is my first post after quite a bit of lurking. I’m hoping to find others in a similar position as right now I feel crazy!
I’ve been off the pill since last year, but more focussed on TTC for the past 4 months. My average cycle is 26/27 days. I usually spot for couple of days before AF arrives properly, as well as cramps and leg pains.

This cycle I’m on day 30 with absolutely no sign of AF.
(I did have some spotting around 9dpo)
I ovulated while on our honeymoon (didn’t track LH as forgot to pack strips but all other signs were there and I’ve got pretty good at recognising the signs!) Being on honeymoon meant plenty of attempts were made 🙈
So here I am, around 16dpo. With no sign of AF arriving. I also feel incredibly nauseous but I’m pretty sure that’s just excitement/nerves!
I’ve tested this morning and got BFN.
Anyone else having a similar experience?

I'm fairly annoyed with myself for testing again this morning and it looks like a BFN to me. I thought with FMU it would be stronger but it's def weaker if anything there at all. Really hoping over the next few days it gets stronger. I have my Xmas party to contend with too.

Hi @Lert88 ! Congrats on the wedding and I hope you went somewhere lovely for honeymoon :) . I'm 15days PO today with a seemingly negative test. Whereas yesterday it was positive (only just, but something def there). Some people seem to get stronger test results in the afternoon / evening so I'm wondering if this might be me.
I also had spotting 12days PO and I believe that if you are going to get implantation spotting then it's usually between 10-14 days after ovulation so your 9 day doesn't sound too far off.

Will keep my fingers crossed for you that something develops over the next few days for you x

Thank you! I’ll test again if nothing appears in a couple of days. It’s just so hard to know if the nausea is symptoms of pregnancy or nerves!!! I’ll keep for fingers crossed for you too that that faint line gets stronger!

@Lert88 I know what you mean - I’ve had a racing heart last few days and I can’t work out if it’s a symptom or I’m just nervous / anxious to test! Good luck!

@kizzy97 thank you. I'm not fully in belief yet as today's was really weak compared to yesterday so I'm a little nervous still. Going to wait a few more days and test again

Hi ladies, I’m CD30 today and did a test this morning. BFN!!! So expecting AF tomorrow (usual cycle length is 30 although last month was fairly short due to supplements I’ve started). I’ve joined the Jan thread so will see some of you over there. Good luck to everyone yet to test. Lots of baby dust to you all xx

I've been symptom spotting. But the nausea and boob ache is undeniable really,

My problem is. I'm in work tonight on NICU. And some babies have a condition called cmv which is dangerous to pregnant people especially in the first trimester. I can't test until tues/wed. So don't wanna start the rumour mill. But I need to figure out a way to say "I can't look after that baby" without starting the rumour mill 😩🙈 I was hoping one of my friends would be in charge tonight but she's not. I just asked her and she told me the best way round. It is to request a certain baby. So I'll try that.

I'm 8dpo, I've only had tiredness but put that down to life stresses but the nausea started Friday and the boob pain started today, can't even bend over. They hurt! Of course I may just be imagining it all 🙈

Bfn this morn at 11dpo and af started early this eve so looks like I'm out this month. Feeling really deflated but inwards and upwards for a New year baby 😬🤞🏻🤞🏻Good luck and baby dust to anyone still in the running for a bfp for Christmas!!

BFN at 10dpo and a temp drop, feeling a bit disappointed as thought I had symptoms but also different ones to my pregnancy. AF due on weds so should know finally by then but the temp drop isn’t a good sign even if still quite early

Af stopped for me today...which is really odd never had a 2 day period before

@melbxldn I would but it was heavy as it usually was and there was clots (sorry tmi) so I'm not sure

@kizzy97 this sounds like what I had last month! AF arrived 3 days early, first day was very light, second day very heavy and almost non-existent on day 3. I put it down to the supplements I started last month. Still waiting to see what this month is like.

@mightbeyesmightbeno sorry it was fainter yesterday. Any luck today? They say it takes 2-3 days for the hormones to double, so I wouldn't worry too much.

@Tinkerbell098 my whole build up to af as well as the af itself has been bizarre this month, strange what your body does when you're ttc

Hi ladies!

Just dropping in before another set of nights 🥱 5 dpo today constant tummy and back cramps since ovulation day and what feels like a pulled muscle in my stomach.

I’m really tired and I feel sick but it’s too early for any symptoms so potentially still ovulation related 🤷‍♀️

I had what was likely an evap line today, 9dpo. I thought I could see something when I tested but realistically I probably couldn't, when it dried I could see it better but still nothing obvious. I've never had a possible evap line that didn't turn in to a bfp before though so it's hard not to get my hopes up with it. Eurgh 2 weeks is so long to wait 😂 I have frers coming weds which will be 11dpo so I imagine I'll know by then 🤞

Now on day 36 since last period. 6 days late for me and nothing at all 🤷‍♀️

I think I’ve experienced implantation cramps and bleeding. I’m having achy cramps and lower backache and I swipe pink/light red with CM. Don’t want to get my hopes up though. I’m only 6DPO. My boobs ACHE.

My AF due tomorrow and two days of the low temps now so assume I’m out. Kind of just want it to arrive now so can enjoy Xmas and not think about TTC to new year! I have 5 week cycles so it seems very far away til my next chance
