TTC December thread

This part is nearly as bad as the TTW - waiting for AF to be over and to be able to crack on!

By my calculations we'll all know before Christmas if the next cycle has been a success for us - so hopefully either way happiness or sadness there will be lots of opportunities for lovely family time x

Slight pelvic pain, had it a little earlier in the tww and now have had it again a little bit today...wondering if that could be a sign or not?

I’m not sure @kizzy97 if it’s unusual for you then maybe? Last cycle I was convinced I had symptoms but nothing yet here at 5-6dpo yet

Anyone testing this morning?

Probably going to speak too soon here, but no sign of impending af yet! Due on Friday and haven't started spotting yet 🤞

@melbxldn I'm going to try and hold off testing until Saturday now if af stays away, I also get paid on Friday so might go and grab some FRER as the test I took yesterday was an Asdas own and I read some bad reviews on them last night

Due on today and BFN not even a hint of a shadow so I think I’m out.

Tested this morning and bfn. My bbt is up but I’ve got a fever from that bloody Moderna. Keeping everything crossed that there’s good news in this group soon. Xx

Ok so testing yesterday unleashed the test taking addiction in me 🙈. Can someone tell me if I'm going crazy seeing a shadow on this? Only had about 3 hours sleep last night (thanks teething!) so not sure if I'm imagining it haha.

@Theresamagicalplace I can’t but I’m rubbish at lines and the pic quality here is quite low: if you can def check again tomorrow

@melbxldn now I've had a barrel of coffee and looked again you're right it was just my eyes haha. Ah well, still early days!

So, I may be out, just had the slightest bit of spotting (wouldn't really notice if you weren't looking for it) but that tends to mean af is coming for me

BFN for me this morning 11dpo l. I asked my husband to pick up some pregnancy tests on the food shop and he got clearblue early detection and not first response. Feel like I’d trust a first response more but I’ll try the other clear blue 14dpo if AF doesn’t show up

I've got 2 cheapies in the house, can't decide if to buy a FRER or not. AF due Thursday but that's based on possibly early ovulation. If based on previous cycles then AF won't be here until Monday. So I don't think a cheapie would pick anything up for me these time frames 🤔

Yeah I’ve only just noticed that the Premom app calendar puts my expected period as Saturday because they would be 14dpo from my opks but if my period was due Saturday that would only be a 27 day cycle and I’m definitely a 29 day cycle. Just longer to wait

I’m a bit of a late joiner. Today or tomorrow I’m due to ovulate, and AF is due 30 December. TTC #2, 6th. cycle trying but first cycle using conceive plus pills. We conceived #1 in the first month trying but that was almost 5 years ago! Just a place mark for me!

@DeviousImp17 nice to have some fresh ovulation in the group 😂😂

@Cecelia90 yes I think that's the same as me- predicts as 14 days after but that would make me a 25 day cycle this month 🤔 which I'm def not!

Feeling so poorly still so all symptoms are blurred into illness so think I'll just wait until Monday.

@kizzy97 ugh sorry to hear that, especially when you’d had such a “productive” month. Annoying how low the stats are even when you do all the right things. Still an option for you though until you get AF proper. Otherwise onto next cycle!

@DeviousImp17 I tried conceive plus tablets this cycle too!

Gah only 6dpo and time is standing still! I think I’ll test Tuesday though so not too far and a busy weekend ahead

@melbxldn - haven't had any more since I posted that so shall see how I get on, it's usually a consistent spotting but that's not been the case today at least...fingers crossed 🤞

BFN but no AF today on day 30 of my cycle. I’m now wondering if maybe I ovulated late and not early as I thought. Pity we had a lot more action earlier in the cycle than later

I’m 12dpo today. Think I’m going to test in the morning I can’t wait any longer. AF due Friday. I’m nervous all of a sudden. No symptoms at all. X

@melbxldn about 30 days typically, on occasion I’ll get a shorter or longer one but 30 mostly

Hey girls!

Just after a bit of advice, I’m cd 15 and had a positive OPK yesterday morning.

Is tonight to late to catch if we dtd? OH wasn’t here last night so I think we have missed our chance. 😞

Before that we dtd on cd 10, 9, 7 and 6 so I feel like they were too far before as well.

Opinions welcome as I’m new to all this and we both work shifts so it is a juggle to see each other never mind get into bed together 😂

@Beck3115 today should be fine. My peak on opks stayed for 24 hours :)

I'm 4dpo. The week is going so slow. Distracting myself with Christmas prep. I did manage to find FR preg tests yesterday which is rare by me. Ready for next week 🙈

I have weird on off cramps pains in my belly. On and off metallic taste in my mouth. I've decided to not drink any alcohol just in case!

@Beck3115 based on my temps I ovulate 2-3 days after my first positive OPK so tonight is great and you could even try tomorrow given your earlier days are a bit far away

@oldermam when will you test? Im 6dpo but might test at 10 because the days are so slow. I actually don’t feel pregnant at all whereas with my son I did so I’ll have a few drinks but trying to stay moderate!
