Letrozole & BBT

Hi all,

Me again with my ever confusing body :(

First cycle on Letrozole so I don't really know what is considered normal. Usually I have a pretty generic BBT chart, except it takes forever for me to ovulate and my BBT doesn't raise too significantly but the pattern is 'normal'.

I had a positive LH test followed by a HUGE BBT spike which confirmed ovulation but then the next day it plummeted to below pre-O temps. I had significant pain and bloating on ovulation day so I've no question it happened, plus sore nipples which is a standard Ov side effect for me. It's gone up again (ish) this morning but I'm a little worried this isn't normal.

Reason I was prescribed letrozole is I have late ovulation and a short luteal phase due to progesterone deficiency so I'm freaking out that I'm still not producing enough progesterone.

Has anyone ever been in a similar situation before? I'm booked in for a blood test on Thursday to confirm progesterone levels but I think I need some reassurance before then so I'm not panicking as I know it's no good for baby making :(
