Missed Pill

Hi! Just need some advice. My period is 8 days late due to just starting the desogestrel pill a month and a half ago. I had sex 3 days ago and completely forgot to take my pill the next 2 days due to going on a trip and not taking it with me. Do I need emergency contraceptive or should I be okay since my period is due anyway?

Desogestrel is a mini pill and missing 1 mini pill can put you at risk of pregnancy. That type of pill stopped my periods for years too so my period was never due.

Do you think I should take the morning after pill then?

How many days ago did you have sex? One morning after pill needs to be taken within 3 days or the other within 5 days. You are cutting it fine and soon it will be too late for other precautions

Hi, I take rigevdon pill.. I have realised I’ve missed 1 pill during the back as I should only have 2 pills left but I have 3 left. I don’t know what day I missed this pill. Is anyone able to advise what to do next? I am due to come on my period on Tuesday.. will I still come on just from missing 1 pill?
