Implantation bleeding

It’s now month 5 of trying to conceive I have trouble ovulating, I have a feeling I might have finally ovulated last week because of ovulation tests I didn’t get a full positive but near that I got light spotting like pink yesterday stopped during the night started again this morning and stop again it’s only there when I wipe light and see through or white discharge is this the start of my period? Or IB TMI I included pictures please help

I got this 2 days before my period was due and it was implantation bleeding. I assumed it was my period starting but it wasnt. When can you take a test?

My period is due in 4 days, I did test yesterday but it was negative not sure if it was to early

I have always waited till the day of my missed period personally, as I know that's when it's most likely to be accurate (99% I believe), but I've never tried earlier so wouldn't really know.
I find on the day of my missed period with each of my pregnancies I have sensed a change in my body due to the hormone rise on that day. (Slight nausea usually) which has made me almost know that I'm pregnant before taking the test, whereas the week before I feel completely normal.

Well it’s negative on the bright side AF is not here yet so you never no I guess

Update! For anyone that might be going through the same hopefully it’s helpful for you. I had brown spotting on my underwear once in the afternoon nothing since also white Cm, AF still not here. Cramping on my back and lower stomach, bloated and slight headache. Might start my period I’m not sure I’ll keep you updated fingers crossed

Hi @alexisttc I'm in the same boat! Period due today/tomorrow but had spotting just like yours yesterday also a little today but pretty much stopped now. You'd probably think it's just the start of a period but mine NEVER begin with spotting like this, I'm usually straight to a heavy flow within an hour. I had a negative test this morning so I don't know what to think! I definitely feel like something's different so wondering about implantation bleeding!? Just got to give it a few days and see which way it goes I guess.

I have no idea what’s going on I had the pinky spotting on the 19 and 20th, yesterday had brown spotting just once and tested but negative my periods are irregular but they were apparently meant to start 4 days ago but nothing, I Have no idea when I’m meant to test otherwise it’s just a long Waite till whenever

I read if you get implantation bleeding you need to Waite up to 7 days for at home tests you would be in the right track as usually implantation bleeding happens couple days before AF

I've been having this now for around 3/4 days. Started off very light like yours, Its gotten a little heavier when I mean heavier the pink is a little darker and it's there every time I go to the toilet now rather than every now and then. I got My BFP 5 days ago I think around 10dpo/11dpo and this started around 12dpo/13dpo. My ovulation was so late this cycle and had positive opk's for 4 days so not sure exactly when I ovulated. I'm really hoping it's implantation bleeding but not feeling very hopeful at this point. I do have an appointment at the early pregnancy unit tomorrow because they place me nearly 6 weeks but I won't be I ovulated a lot later than usual this cycle but I will still go and see what they say.

Honestly I’ve been taking the ovulation test like multiple times a day and either they don’t work or Something as I’ve never gotten a positive one in 5 months this is the only time I’ve gotten all these symptoms so really hoping for something although I’m losing hope now as I have irregular periods so don’t even no if I’m late or not and tests are still negative.

Hopefully all goes well tomorrow 💙do let me know. I’ve just been crazy updating as when I’m reading old posts no one ever writes the outcome and process it just stops at symptoms

I wouldn't worry too much, with my first pregnancy I had spotting just as you've described right after my positive test when my period was due and then for the first 2-3 months each time my period 'would have' been due. It was as if my body was so used to its cycle it couldn't help but leak just a little bit out! Lol. Every time it would happen but then I'd check the calendar and realise it was band on when I would be having a period. Same thing happened to my mum when she was pregnant and my midwives assured me it can be very normal. It stopped after first trimester xxx

Did another digital this morning it's still saying 1-2 weeks. I think I'm actually driving my self insane at this point. Dr google has diagnosed me with absolutely everything from an ectopic to a chemical to a miscarriage to break through bleeding and implantation bleeding and so on. I was really hoping 16dpo or there abouts the digital would of read 2-3 weeks just show my levels are going up. I hope your right and it's my body giving me a light period because it's not quite worked out yet because the bleeding did start around the time I should of got a period after ovulating.

I will definitely update on what the EPU say tomorrow. If I am what I think I am 4+ not 5+ like they calculated I'm not sure what they will be able to tell me.

It was very early wasn't it 😴 it is more red now and the tiniest of red I don't want say clots as its probably the size of end of a pen and a bit of it I the loo when I've had a wee. Its still only when I go to the toilet nothing on a pad. Im not holding much hope and even dred going for a wee now. Its the not knowing that's the hardest part but I think I'm coming to terms with this pregnancy not being a viable one. 4 days of bleeding and it's getting darker not lighter, it isnt getting heavier though YET !!! I've had a MC before years ago and I can remember spotting in the evening by the next day I was up the hospital absolutely drenched in blood needing serious pain killers. It's hard not look at the situation as the glass half empty not half full but maybe it maybe good news who knows. Keep us posted on your self and I will let you know how my appointment goes tomorrow xx

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss, don’t lose complete hope you never know! hopefully all is well. Considering it hasn’t gotten heavier it might just be implantation bleeding as they do say a bit of uterus tissue mixed with blood when the egg burrows in the uterus lining.

Mine is still negative defo wasn’t implantation bleeding at this point, might haven been ovulation bleeding but according to my research that’s rare but we can hope so I’m going to do the count tww from the 19th! When I had it. I run out of tests and not testing anymore till then as it’s draining me. AF still not here. Xx

Well I've just told my mum I'm pregnant and with suspected problems. I wasn't going to say anything to anyone but there's nothing better than support from your mum doesn't matter how old you are. She's just informed me every month for 6 months a full blown period with me she had. Her mother also had early bleeding with her but this was a suspected twin pregnancy but back then they didn't have the means to say for definite. They actually said she had had a miscarriage and then low and behold she was still pregnant with my mum. She told me go tomorrow prepare for the worst but keep hope. Will keep you posted. Yours definitely sounds like ovulation bleeding and far more hopeful xx

Definitely did the right thing telling your mother and she gave you useful information! it might be genetic? That’s really great advice, hoping for the best for you 💜

Well I've been, lining looks good, cervix is shut, ovaries look OK, they have no idea why I'm bleeding. To early to see the baby so have booked us to come back. So they've put Mr down as pregnant and unknown location because they can't rule out ectopic until they can see the baby properly.

that sounds like good news I would say! Considering your mum and grandma had bleeding during pregnancy it might be that? I hope the appointment isn’t so far I can only try to imagine how stressful it might feel however try to relax and take each day as it comes. I fell things look hopeful xx

Meanwhile I’ve had a bunch of cramping lower belly and back but honestly this is like AF pains even though still not here we shall continue to Waite on a positive this is the first day I haven’t tested 🥳
