Hi everyone. Today I’m on cycle day 38, late for my period by 3 days.

Last month, I was on day 35 and started my period, I’ve never ever had a cycle that’s lasted longer than 35 days, usually it’s around 30-35days

I took a test 2 days ago and had a BFN ( my urine was very diluted though as taken mid-day) is there still a chance I could still be pregnant?

Have you had the Covid vaccine recently? I've heard it can mess up your cycles.

@cas20
Yes, still a chance. Try a 4-6 hour bladder hold. Make sure urine is “liquid gold” color. Try to buy the most sensitive test you can (frer most likely).
Good luck 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

I'll be 4 days late tomorrow and cycle day 39 so if no AF then I'll grab some tests! Just don't want to get my hopes up when it's more than likely a very late period

@cas20
I did that last month. Kept postponing taking a test because I didn’t want to be disappointed. Ended up testing on day 35 when my cycles are normally 25-27 days long. Test came back positive. Then I lost it 2 days later (chemical pregnancy). In retrospect, I think I should have tested earlier. Bloodwork day before miscarriage was 8. I would like to have known how high it had risen to maybe a week earlier. Just my experience. Good luck 🤞🤞🤞

A year ago if not longer? HOW? Were you in the clinical trials?

Hopefulhedgehog · 21/11/2021 07:29

@Squiff70 stop splitting hairs, it's roughly a year ago they started giving the vaccine. OP may be clinically vulnerable or work in the NHS or care sector.

Hopefulhedgehog · 21/11/2021 07:32

@cas20 I feel for you OP it's awful not knowing. If you are late for AF then any test should be coming up positive I think even not with FMU. Hope you get answers soon x

I was one of the very first bunch to receive the vaccine as I worked with vulnerable people...
