Hi, I took these two tests at 11DPO and was hoping they were the start of something. I have tested today and negative. Was it all in my head?

Any advice?

I can definitely see those lines. What type of test did you use today? Tomorrow should hopefully give you a clearer answer. It could be a very early chemical but hopefully not. Fingers crossed for you

Theosmommy2011 · 19/11/2021 19:35

@Hopefulhedgehog hi, thanks for replying, it was another First Response and all I could see was a tiny indent. I figured if it was anything it would have shown a darker line by now xx

@Theosmommy2011
Might be too early. I would try later with concentrated “liquid gold” wee. My tests came out like that with diluted urine. Ended in a chemical tho.
Good luck to you. 🤞

@Jlcw Hi, thanks for the reply. Do you see the lines too? I'm not holding out hope but makes me feel like it was just me that could see them. Would it be a chemical based on these, as they are only faint? Xx

I can see these too @Theosmommy2011 - it looks like it has colour to it, rather than a grey indent.
I’d suggest maybe waiting until tomorrow or Sunday morning and try with FMU if you can :) good luck, and tentative congratulations!

Theosmommy2011 · 19/11/2021 22:15

@mrsS21 thank you, I feel better knowing it isn't just me. I will test again but I think AF will show as planned xx

@Theosmommy2011
Any coloring on the stick indicates pregnancy. Only time will tell if its a chemical or not. During my chemical the lines became progressively lighter each day until I started bleeding. I would tape them to a piece of paper and mark the days & times the test was taken. Comparing them over a few days will give you your answer. Unless you start bleeding. Good luck 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that. So upsetting after those tests. Hope you are feeling okay

Berkeys · 21/11/2021 09:54

I have had a lit of these - basically failed implantation/chemicals. Flowers OP, they are really shit.

Starting ivf now but my consultant says those faint little lines are at least showing that you are ovulating, sperm and egg are meeting and pregnancy is happening (to produce lines), it’s just not continuing.

These are common but I have had too many. The issues this suggests might be uterine environment issues (for me, nk cells, immune) and/or egg quality.

Good luck Star

Phrenologistsfinger · 21/11/2021 09:55

Also sperm quality! But my DP is testing ok.

mrsS21 · 21/11/2021 10:24

I’m so sorry @Theosmommy2011, it’s so hard when you have this little glimmer of hope, for af to show. Sending thoughts your way 💐

Theosmommy2011 · 21/11/2021 11:02

@Hopefulhedgehog thank you. I don't really know how to feel tbh. I kind of feel like, at least something may be happening but also worried that there is an issue xx

@Berkeys thank you for this. Yes I am kind of feeling like I am glad to see that something is happening. I came off birth control in July to ttc as I have endometriosis and adenomyosis. I know that it may not happen for me but I do have 2 boys from a previous relationship so I am grateful and very lucky.
I guess I'm worried that this may indicate issues but these are the first proper lines, albeit faint, that I have had so far.
Thank you for sharing your journey, sending you lots of baby dust for your IVF xx

@Phrenologistsfinger thank you. My gynae consultant said he would send us both for testing once we have been trying for 12 months xx
