Hi, I apologise if this is in the wrong place, It's my first post on here so I'm still learning!

I'm looking for some advice. I have been taking Citaloptam for a few months now but since I have started taking them, my cycle seems to have a mind of its own.

My cycle was very regular before at 29 days but since taking Citalopram it seems to be anywhere up to 40 days!

Has this or anything similar happened to anyone else and if so, did your cycle regulate eventually or stay erratic?

Thanks all x

I’m currently trying to come off Citalopram and I honestly think it’s messing my cycle up big time, so wouldn’t be surprised if it’s changing them when starting to take them!

Thanks for replying!
Is it just messing your cycle up since trying to come off them or has it always affected them?

CountryGirl189 · 18/11/2021 11:11

I don’t remember it affecting them at all when I started taking them, but I feel like they’ve been a bit weird since trying to come off.

But then again, it’s our first month TTC and I’ve been mega stressed for the past few months and this on top is adding to it, so I don’t know if I’m just over-analysing my body and everything it’s doing!

That's quite possible, I've thought about coming off them to sort my cycles out but then I'm worried they'll go even crazier if I come off them so I can't win!

Hopefully your cycles sort themselves out soon and good luck on your TTC journey! 😊
