To Pee or Not to Pee

How does one balance the post sex to pee to prevent cystitis and trying to conceive?

How long is long enough to wait to go?

Pee. The swimmers will have got to where they need to (what comes back out is mainly semen and not the sperm). No point risking cystitis and then ending up on antibiotics not compatible with ttc

Never wee after sex. Never had an uti..
But I did get a bf after a quickie ddoggy style and then had a shower!!
Sorry tmi.
But sperm travel pdq so don't worry too much about going vertical straight after!

There is no scientific evidence that laying down after sex increases pregnancy odds. The swimmers already went to their destination, they travel soooo fast! Don't risk getting a UTI and go pee!

@pumpkinsonparade I kinda risked the TMI by posting so don't worry haha

But yeah, it was the leakage that concerned me. Appreciate the lack of scientific evidence, just wanting to maximise chances as it isn't happening very well

I'm on cycle 13 so will try anything now. This cycle I have used a mooncup so maybe that's the best of both worlds? Keep the swimmers in and you can pee! There isn't much scientific evidence for any of the stuff we do when TTC (OPKs,bbt etc) so I don't let the lack of science sway me 😂

Oh and I have 2 x dd's from only dtd on day 23 of a 28 day cycle!! Know for definite as dp worked away!
The workings of conception blow the mind ime!!
