Hi girls so basically I went for a transvaginal scan yesterday to check my ovaries and they said I had ovulated naturally last cycle on the left side but do they mean and made a mistake that they can see I ovulated this cycle as I’m currently on cd19 or can the ultrasound see last cycle if I ovulated or not? Confused lol.

I don’t know what cd19 means but yes they can usually see what side you’ve ovulated from as there’s still a cyst like thing next to the ovary. If you get pregnant it becomes the corpus luteum to provide hormones until the placenta takes over, so I presume it’s there until your period at least.

Cd means cycle day babe, so they can see I ovulated last cycle not this current cycle? That’s what I’m confused about as she told me she could see I ovulated last cycle but I’ve had my period and I’m now on a new cycle but I think she means I’ve ovulated now/ this cycle x
