On to 3rd cycle post MC, af has arrived two days early. Any other ladies want to join me? Feeling positive about the month ahead for a change 🤞

May I join please? Had a mmc last month (found at 12 week scan), I'm 18 days post ERPC surgery so not expecting a huge amount to happen this month but would be nice to not feel alone!

Tina12745 · 17/11/2021 12:16

Of course @SareBear87 definitely the more the merrier! Its nice to speak with ladies that understand what youve been through isn't it! Sorry to hear about your m/c, i had mine in june and it took 18 weeks for my first period to come back. My cycle was only 25 days this month its never been that short xx

SareBear87 · 17/11/2021 12:26

Thank you ☺️
My pg tests went negative within 10 days of surgery so I'm kinda waiting to see what my body does next!
I'm hoping my LH levels rise but I'm not hopeful. This was my 2nd mc and my first one (at 6 weeks) knocked my cycle out by 10 days so I imagine this one will take a lot longer!
How are you feeling though?

Tina12745 · 17/11/2021 12:57

@SareBear87 oh bless you! Are you ttc your first or do you have other children? We are ttc our 2nd.

Im doing okay thank you, im still having counselling with regards to my m/c and thats really helpingSmile. The baby was only 9 weeks but its crazy how much it effects you when it happens to so many people. How are you doing?

Hey, I will join you ladies too :)

I am just coming off the back of a chemical now...found out I was pregnant and then bleeding started a couple of days later so no time to process the bfp at all tbh - which has been a bit of a blessing actually because it's meant I've not really been emotional about the whole thing.

I am currently waiting for 2nd blood tests results just to make sure everything is still going in the right direction and rule out possibility of ectopic, but I'm hopeful it's just been a straightforward loss. Tbh I didn't even initially think I'd need the docs since it was so early, I only called as a precaution but obviously they have to be thorough.

No idea what to expect from the next few weeks though?? I have a CB smiley OPK thing but haven't used it this month as I'm guessing the HCG and progesterone from the pregnancy would mess the results up anyway. I didn't really think about the fact that this loss would likely mess up my cycles so I guess I will just have to wait and see how it goes. Going by normal dates, my fertile days would be around now so I think I'm out for this month, but hoping to pick it back up in Dec :)

Bridgey8 · 17/11/2021 14:12

I'd like to join too!

I'm 15 days post surgery... baby stopped at 5 weeks they think and got re-absorbed but my body kept frown the sac/placenta/hormones doubling so didn't find out until 9 weeks.

Still testing positive on tests at mo...

Xxx

SareBear87 · 17/11/2021 17:50

@Tina12745 we are ttc our first child. I know what you mean, I was only pregnant for 13 weeks but even though baby had died I was still getting full symptoms so never suspected anything!

@LittleMysSister with my chemicals (there's been a few) the tests have gone negative before bleeding starts.

@Bridgey8 I hope you're ok? Surgery is brutal so I hope you are recovering well xx

AquaVitae89 · 17/11/2021 22:46

I would also like to join if okay?

M/C at 5.5 weeks - still processing, was a lot more upset by it than I thought I would be. First baby and first time conceiving so obviously was so excited and still feeling a bit shit but getting better. My colleague had a beautiful baby girl the day I miscarried so whilst I am so happy for her it does hurt.

Onto the next month though.

AwkwardPaws27 · 17/11/2021 23:01

Wishing you all so much luck!

I had my 3rd MC in August, I'm now 11.5 weeks pregnant. Don't lose hope! X

swanswallow · 17/11/2021 23:05

I would like to join, I'm sorry we all find ourselves in this position but sending positive thoughts for current/upcoming cycles.

I had a missed miscarriage with my first pregnancy in August at 10 weeks stopped developing at 6 ) but between waiting ages for medical management and then for a negative test, I've had only one full cycle so far. Currently on cycle two. The waiting is so difficult, hope we all get positives soon

Tina12745 · 17/11/2021 23:19

Thanks so much for commenting ladies, its crazy how we are all going through a similar time at the moment but also quite reassuring that we aren't on our own.❤️

Ive been using clearblue connected since the beginning of the year, we dtd every other day most cycles but on the month i fell pregnant we only dtd once! Cycle 1 post mmc we dtd cd12,14,16 cycle 2 we did cd 13&15. I have no idea what pattern we should attempt this month 😅

OP posts:
LittleMysSister · 18/11/2021 09:03

@SareBear87 Unfortunately my urine was still testing positive 6 days after my bleeding began, which is why I ended up having an internal scan to check for an ectopic. BUT got my results back and I'm back to pre-pregnant HCG levels now :) A big relief.

@Tina12745 I am the same with not knowing where to start with this month. No idea whether I have/will ovulate this cycle or whether my period will come as expected. Dreading having to go back to the forced DTD during fertile week when I'm back tracking again next month, I found it really stressful last time!

Tina12745 · 24/11/2021 10:02

Hello ladies how are we doing?
I started testing on my clearblue connected app yesterday, onto cd8 today! Got my peak at cd13 last month so hoping its the same this month (not long to wait!) xx

OP posts:
LittleMysSister · 25/11/2021 12:12

Hey Tina, still plodding along here.

Haven't done any testing or anything this month due to the MC, gonna wait until my next period comes to start all that up again. Can't wait for it to arrive tbh, I feel like I can't relax until it does as I'm still having weird twinges and pains.

Roll on December cycle!!

Bridgey8 · 29/11/2021 12:21

Hi guys... I've finally tested negative after the surgery... how soon did you get your periods after a negative test? Xxx

Tina12745 · 29/11/2021 12:45

Hey @LittleMysSister i felt exactly the same, felt like a lifetime for it to arrive!

I got my peak today at cd13, dtd last night. We only dtd once when i fell pregnant in may so trying the less is more approach xx

OP posts:
Tina12745 · 29/11/2021 12:46

Hi @Bridgey8 mine took 17 weeks but alot of ladies are alot sooner than that i think x

OP posts:
LittleMysSister · 29/11/2021 13:07

Interested to see the answers to your question @Bridgey8

I am waiting for mine to return - would usually be due on any day now but I read somewhere that the miscarriage becomes CD1, which would mean I'm another week away...if it comes after 4 weeks???

My MC was early though so I am assuming it will be 4 weeks and not longer, but no clue really.

claremc1983 · 29/11/2021 16:49

I had medical management for a MMC 2 weeks ago today. Tested earlier and my pregnancy test showed a very very faint line. I'm just wondering when to start TTC and whether I will of ovulated or not yet....thanks Smile

Tina12745 · 09/12/2021 12:17

Hi ladies how are we all?
Im 8 or 9dpo roughly today refusing to test this month just gonna wait for AF to arrive.

Ive had really bad skin so early this month usually its a day or two before AF. Ive had two really strange spells of dizziness on monday and tuesday something ive never had before very weird but I'm deffo not paying too much attention to it because ill only end up disappointing myself. Due AF on Sunday.

Hope all of you ladies are okay x

OP posts:
LittleMysSister · 09/12/2021 12:42

Got my period back yesterday, 32 days after MC bleeding started so not really delayed at all.

Feeling a bit down as I'd somehow convinced myself I'd be one of those who manage to fall pregnant straight after a MC, but also sort of glad to be starting afresh. Will start doing my OPKs again once bleeding stops.

Fingers crossed for you @Tina12745, you never know :) Every month is a chance x

NMH19 · 09/12/2021 13:40

Hi

I would love to join this thread. I had early MC last April then July (2020) 4+5 and 5+1 respectively. I’d no treatment but went private and had a scan to be diagnosed with PCOS and adneomyosis with cysts in my womb. I began my weight loss journey was on contraception for 6 months, lost 3 stone, stopped the pill in October and I’d a BFP yesterday. I am really anxious as AF was not due to today and it is still so early. Has anyone any do’s or donts for these first early days/ weeks?

LittleMysSister · 09/12/2021 13:47

No advice from me @NMH19 but just wanted to say congratulations on your bfp :) Hope all goes well xx

NMH19 · 09/12/2021 14:04

@LittleMysSister thank you, it’s still SO early and I wish everyone on here only positive vibes too. x

It’s hard to get excited as it hurts if it doesn’t work out.

Maurice76 · 10/12/2021 07:37

Hi ladies, please can I join?

So sorry we’re all here and for all your losses. It’s seriously tough. I had an interstitial ectopic in February, rushed in for emergency surgery & came out minus my right tube and part of uterus. Had to stop TTC for 6 months to let it all heal. Then fell again straight away in September, had a MC at 6.3. Have had one period since.

Am in 2WW now, no idea when I ovulated as not tracking.. trying to be relaxed about it... but think AF due early next week. This sounds like tempting fate but I’m pretty certain I’m pregnant now. Haven’t tested. Boobs are seriously painful, had spotting on Weds which only happens if I’m pregnant, and already getting that awful feeling in the morning 🤢

Will wait until Monday to test I think. My dad is arriving from Australia on Sunday, haven’t seen him in 3 years & he’s desperate to be a grandad... would be lovely if this was the one so he could share in it all but trying to be pragmatic too as it’s so early. Can’t help wishing for it though!

@NMH19 my advice is to keep telling yourself that “in this moment, I am pregnant”... learning to live in the present rather than letting fear of what could happen in the future really helped me. X
