Neg OPKs, EWCM, mega confused and going nuts

So it’s our first month trying and I’m already going insane.

I usually get really bad ovulation pains so tend to know when an egg is popping out to say hello, but Sod’s law, the month we start trying (and the month prior), I’ve had diddly squat but lots of EWCM.

On top of this, I’ve had negative OPKs (told myself I wasn’t going to test this month, but stupidly couldn’t help myself).

I’ve used the Femometer ones, but have seen mixed reviews on them, but have had a strong positive on a test a few months back, so now I’m just plain confused.

So the question is, have I just stopped ovulating or is my painful ovary now behaving itself and not hurting? (My period still came on time last month even though I had no pains, no positive OPK and lots of EWCM)

Anyone ever had this? Give me a virtual slap if needs be, it’s driving me up the wall!

Funnily enough I’m in almost the exact same situation! Have always had regular cycles, ovulation pain etc but this month I’m just not quite sure as I decided not to use OPK’s and just DTD every other day during my fertile window. So who bloody knows. This will be our 5th cycle trying and have recently come to the conclusion we’re in this for the long haul.

@MrsJ6921 it’s just so weird and I’m so confused!

I get the most horrendous ovulation pains every month without fail, but this is our first month trying and it’s like my body has put it’s middle finger up 😂

Hopefully you get a sweet little baby soon 💕
