Hi.
So TTC for 2 years.
Cycles are always between 30 and 33 days. I've never been later or earlier than this since the age of 15 and I'm 29 now.
37 days into my cycle, I'm having some mild cramps, sore hips. Have been dizzy, nauseous, sweaty sometimes and Headaches all on and off. Four negative pregnancy tests later and I just dont know what's going on. (clear blue and 3 of the £1 tesco ones). I understand your cycle can change due to stress and the like, but I'm a very anxious person and it's never caused an issue in this way before. Any advice would be welcome.

I don't have any advise for you op but I understand your feelings I am in the same limbo according to an app measuring from lmp I would currently be exactly 7 weeks pregnant had many symptoms for a couple of weeks now like right now I am experiencing mild cramps and feel extremely nauseous I hope we both find some answers soon xx

Sorry I don't think anyone will be able to tell you what's going on. Although I'd reccomend a first response six days early over the clear blue or tesco ones. Fingers crossed for you though xx

Might be a stretch but have you had your covid vaccine recently? I've heard that can affect your cycle

Sleepdeprivedmumma · 16/11/2021 18:01

I had a similar experience with my youngest. Was 9 days late before I got a positive pregnancy test (even though I was doing 2 a day! Cost a small fortune).

I would recommend that you contact you GP and ask for a blood test as they are much more accurate at picking up the pregnancy hormone and if it's not pregnancy related delayed period they can offer you advice on what might be going on.

Yes my first in August, not my second tho as it caused alot of illness with me.
Literally as I read your comment I was like "oh yeah duh! I remember hearing it can muck your cycle up" great 👍
Thanks hun

Jayjane79 · 17/11/2021 00:38

I've read if you've ovulated late your period will be late. This is why i keep testing with my opk's to make sure I don't have a 2nd LH surge because i don't temp my sleep patterns are all over the show.

BourbonScreams · 17/11/2021 09:00

I'm 6 days late and only just got a BFP.

DaisyMum40 · 02/12/2021 09:38

Any update on this OP? I'm also very late, with negative tests, and just wondering how you've got on.

HRHXO · 02/12/2021 10:43

Hi OP, any update? Something similar happened to me last cycle. I'm usually regular 28-33 cycles, was on the pill for 15 years and had been off it for 6 months when I had a 53 day cycle last month! I had all negative tests but I had some symptoms like sore boobs, nausea etc. I too am an anxious person I wondered if it wadls that but I'm always anxious and it's never effected it before! Anyway AF turned up and has been normal AF and I'm ready to start trying again but it was obviously just a random long cycle or maybe I didn't ovulate or maybe its because I had my covid jab in October but either way everything was fine so try not to worry and fingers crossed you have a BFP or AF soon so that you have answers xx

Seeing your 53 day cycle reassures me, I'm currently only CD48 and feel like there's no sign of period arriving at all!
