When you don’t think about your days as “Monday Tuesday Wednesday” you think of them as “fertile week” or “CD12” we know the feeling.

We’ve tried baby dust (back in early 2020 I think we stopped believing in that!?, we’ve tried chocolate/pizza & sofa sex (remember that? Late 2020, that got a lot of babies!) and now we are onto manifesting, testing, pleading & yet there’s still some unwanted bleeding🤣😂well tough titties we are here to stay til we get those BFPs🤞🏻🙌🏻we just need to rinse out our foofs & get the nurses to wade through our stocking full of old sperm 💦

Whether you are TTC “normally”, IUI/ivf or anything we are a crew that cling together to the bitter end & always ready to help a sister out. We’ve had multiples, some losses so know two lines can be just as terrifying as none, and we’ve got ladies where those two lines are more illusive than a white Christmas 🎅🏻

It costs an embarrassing story for your ticket, doesn’t have to be TTC related as we know laughing when TTC is needed.

Little update from me - had a little bleed Monday so ended up in hospital and they kept me for monitoring over night because there's 2, everyone is twice as cautious it seems! On the plus side it was an external bleed, cervix well sealed and I got to see them again Tuesday which was nice. 2 strong heartbeats! And we even got a first picture of them together ❤️❤️ not the clearest due to their position but it was strange but nice to see them on screen together properly - it felt surreal and I still don't think it's sunk in yet!!
We have a gender scan booked for 27th (next Saturday) and will do a small family gathering reveal for the girls. I will be 16+3, where has that time gone?! Still on 1 sickness tablet in a morning but down from 5 so we are getting there lol and it's def eased. Still hardly any appetite on most foods but when I do fancy something I can't get it quick enough 🤣🤣🤣 and I'm monitoring my BP as I fainted last week due to it being low - all normal in pregnancy and even more so in multiple.
So it's been an eventful couple of months to say the least but I'm still extremely grateful even when I'm throwing up so hard I'm peeing myself 🤣🤣🤣

@Lexber scary about the bleed but I'm so glad all is well and that you got to see your babies again! Will you be finding out the sex do you think?

@larrythelizard did he clear the kitchen table 🤣 and yes I'm very much looking forward to having a hotel room to myself! What I'm most excited about is the thought of having a bath as our house only has a shitty shower 😁

@paintfairy got a tree planting day for the community with work today. Heading straight from here in my muddy boots to the hotel in Surrey we're staying at for the wedding tomorrow.

We have a gender scan booked for next Saturday as OH is desperate to know! Plus it makes everything so much easier planning for 2.
I think I could happily wait and find out at birth if I am honest, but he is so excited we booked it as early as we could 🤣🤣🤣

@gcat16 I'm not 100% sure exactly when we'll be completing but it'll be pretty soon, the surveyors have been and gone, the searches are back, so I think it'll be soon! We loved the renovation house and have made an offer this morning!! On the job, I'd tell them you're pregnant before you accept but I definitely think you should accept it once it's all clear! Let us know how it goes!!

@Juno231 at least stuff was still happening then and it wasn't like you were kept in the dark!! I'm still waiting on my appointment letter but I think I'll wait till it's been 4 weeks before I start getting annoyed

@Bea14 he's definitely on board with a renovation project!! He has degrees in architecture and civil engineering and he's a roofer by trade so we're lucky that he can do a lot of things himself and lots of his close friends are tradesmen too so they can help! Weve always wanted to renovate so I think it'll be a really exciting project for us and something to take our minds off TTC!! The market is crazy isn't it!! Ours sold within the week and over the asking price! I think I'd feel the same and feel so unorganised when it comes to moving, im sure you'll get some motivation to pack soon, because It's all exciting and new!! 12 weeks!! I think I'm wayyy too impatient for that wait🤣 maybe it's different in different areas!! Whereabouts are you? Yasss to the symptoms and lines getting darker!!

Well girls we've made an offer on the renovation project house that we saw yesterday!! I just LOVED it!! It needs a lot doing to it but I can see myself living there and it has a huge garden which our dogs will love us for!! I'm trying not to get ahead of myself because there's 15 viewings including us and 4 offers already, we've discussed what our highest offer would be based on all the work that needs doing and I'm praying nobody goes over ours!! I keep telling myself that if it's meant to be it'll be, but I'm just hoping this will go our way!!🤞🏼

Got a busy weekend planned, my cousins surprise 30th tomorrow day then a friends daughters christening on sunday, I wanted a chill weekend to be honest but next weekend is my last of those until after new year!! Hope everyone has a lovely Friday🥂

@blackcurrantqueen i think there is a bit in there, keep toying with the idea of 2 boys or 1 of each but not once felt like it's 2 girls which is strange?
Years ago I had a dream I had twin boys, and it's never left me always at the back of my mind so when I found out we joked twin boys.. it would be very strange if it was!!

I'm trying to work but I have no attention span right now as feel so tired and the cat is very cuddly too.. I'm only 15+2, I'm going to be massive 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Right - i have a friend issue. And I'm hoping that since you'll all understand, that you can advise accordingly. 😬

So- closest friend. She doesn't live really near so I see her sporadically. We mostly communicate by message. I therefore have no idea when I'll next see her face to face. Possibly around new year but we have no plans.
She had ivf previously, that failed. As far as I know they were saving for another go, which I would expect to be happening any time from now until spring. I haven't asked though as I didn't want to get onto the subject, because of me.
Whilst going through hers she told me tmi and I found it hard. But she wanted support and I did understand that. She was devastated it didn't work and they are desperate. She knew about my hospital referral but I didn't tell her about my first iui. Mostly because I just didn't want to be reminded of it and she's a bit enthusiastic. On one of them I did see her and told her it was happening. On test day she was hassling me and it stressed me out. I therefore never told her about the last one. Only brushed off it was pointless, after the event. She knew in August I had my ivf paperwork but I never updated her after that and she never asked. I assume she thought it would take ages.

My question is- when do I tell her? I know she's going to be utterly devastated. She will be happy for me. But when others close to her have become pregnant in this time of her trying, whilst not bitter for them, she's been upset and cried about it etc. Because it hasn't happened for her. A close family member has had successful ivf too and now she has to see this baby and I know she finds it hard. Obviously I knew about her ivf all along and I think she'll be upset I didn't tell her it was happening for me (literally no one knows, but you lot and the acupuncture woman). I certainly won't be broadcasting it to people until after 12 weeks scans etc and even then it'll be on a need to know basis. I might tell my mum after the viability scan, but I'll see how I feel. However, with my friend- I think she might be extra mortified to find out months down the line? So I can't decide what to do for the best? Do I tell her sooner rather than later? 🤷‍♀️ Clearly face to face would be better but I've no idea when that would be.

@larrythelizard yeah it literally feels like time has flown by so fast! Have another growth scan Tuesday but she approx 3lb 6oz nearly 2 weeks ago so hoping she's close to the 5lb mark now haha! How are you doing??

@Minster2012 I mean... practically yes I'm ready, but now I've had mum guilt of 'I'm gonna miss the little times I have to snuggle with DD' and anxious about her not feeling left out etc but everyone keeps telling me it'll be fine so hoping they're right lol!

they're DCDA twins so 1/3 chance identical (early split) and 2/3 chance 2 eggs and we won't know until birth - Altho I think if they're one of each there's more chance non identical? But I'm not 100% tbh

Ahh congratulations @paintfairy. I am so glad you have finally seen those elusive two lines, especially after the journey you have had. How many days equivalent DPO are you? On the friend chat it is hard to know what is best but I would maybe wait a bit until she is doing her IVF and let her know then? She might be less gutted if she has hope that it will work for her too?

@Lexber That all sounds quite scary but glad all is well and how exciting you got to see them both together. Can't wait to find out if your gender predictions will be correct. You will need to start thinking about names too!

@Vil10 Sounds like you and your OH are perfectly suited to the renovation, especially with all his experience! I really hope you get it. I know what you mean about gardens. New builds all have such small gardens compared to size of plot older houses get. House prices here are just booming! Houses getting 25+ offers are closed bidding and often over 10% over asking. Just mad!
I was really disappointed when I had to wait 12 weeks for my first appointment but it did come round quickly in the end as we got married etc in between. I am NHS Lothian up in Scotland. No idea if 12 weeks is normal or if it was longer due to covid.

@Hopeful110 of course it will be fine, and you can have snuggles all together, and she can have snuggles with baby too! What's not to ❤️ love! Do you know if it's a boy or girl?

@paintfairy personally I'd tell her after the viability scan & over message so she can process without having to hide her emotions like she might if it were a FaceTime or call. Then id follow up a few days later when she's had a chance to process it. Maybe act like she's the first to know but you didn't want to tell her as you didn't think it would work because youd had pointless rounds of IUI which left you negative. Type thing. Maybe along the lines of "we wanted to tell you first because of what last been going on with you and it's still really early days but after a pointless three rounds of IUI we had lost hope when it came to actual ivf but we did it, & it's all happened really quick" something like that?? There is no right or wrong way to tell her but I know from my experience that when I know ppl have had troubles, or losses I'm genuinely happy for them.
Your stupid clinic for not phoning back but it doesn't change the outcome so keep doing what you are doing 🙌🏻

They've finally called. My scan is 14th December when I'll be 8 weeks. She said I can register now with my midwife, which seems a bit all too official?! But then I know I can't realistically leave it until after 14th if I want to avoid having a really late 12 week scan? God. I'm not ready for that yet. Nope. 🙃

@Minster2012 yeahh we found out its another girl 🎀 which DD is ecstatic about, OH on the other hand was a bit disappointed lol but aslong as they are healthy as can be and deliver safe I wouldn't care if it came out either. Your gender scan is soon isn't it? Beginning of December if I remember right? You got any inkling as to what you think?

Question for those who had the booster, someone just texted me to say when they got their booster, they were asked if they’ve been in contact with Covid in the last 4 weeks? it’s this relevant, maybe they misunderstood, I can’t find anything online

Just a quick check in as I'm shattered and heading to bed, tried to come on earlier but the website was down (don't know if it was just at my end or for everyone 🤷‍♀️).
Anyways just to quickly reassure that all was fine at the scan (other than I think they forgot about me and I nearly peed myself but will fill in tomorrow 😂)
