Trouble titties, windy 🌬 bums, & full stockings of old 💦…TTC bus 50

Minster2012 · 15/11/2021 21:50

When you don’t think about your days as “Monday Tuesday Wednesday” you think of them as “fertile week” or “CD12” we know the feeling.

We’ve tried baby dust (back in early 2020 I think we stopped believing in that!?, we’ve tried chocolate/pizza & sofa sex (remember that? Late 2020, that got a lot of babies!) and now we are onto manifesting, testing, pleading & yet there’s still some unwanted bleeding🤣😂well tough titties we are here to stay til we get those BFPs🤞🏻🙌🏻we just need to rinse out our foofs & get the nurses to wade through our stocking full of old sperm 💦

Whether you are TTC “normally”, IUI/ivf or anything we are a crew that cling together to the bitter end & always ready to help a sister out. We’ve had multiples, some losses so know two lines can be just as terrifying as none, and we’ve got ladies where those two lines are more illusive than a white Christmas 🎅🏻

It costs an embarrassing story for your ticket, doesn’t have to be TTC related as we know laughing when TTC is needed.

If you see mention of Instagram I have a public account where a lot of people are linked too:
Minstermusings, and a few people have created new anonymous accounts to record their TTC journey/life stupidities m/general annoyances on…just don’t mention TTC on a personal account.

Phew and yes @DKDK123 - was getting a bit worried there!

blackcurrantqueen · 19/11/2021 19:51

@DKDK123 PHEW so relieved everything was ok for you, Ive been refreshing all afternoon waiting 💕

All good my end too, baby is absolutely non compliant with pictures, and currently breech, but all looking good, weighing approximately 3lb7oz! 🥰

larrythelizard · 19/11/2021 19:58

Wonderful news @blackcurrantqueen - nice to see she's showing her personality already (I'm sure you said you're having a girl?!)

paintfairy · 19/11/2021 20:16

@blackcurrantqueen 🤣 non compliant. Pleased everything is OK though. 🎉

bez91 · 19/11/2021 21:10

@Vil10 the house sounds fab, I think you just know when you've found the one. Hope it works out and you get it!

@DKDK123 glad all is good, hope you feel more rested tomorrow!
@blackcurrantqueen lovely news, plenty of time for more somersaults to get in the right position 😊

Manifestingbaby · 19/11/2021 21:11

Relieved it's all good news girls. Great to hear DK & blackcurrant (I was just being lazy but now I think that sounds like some sort of lush drink 😂)

@paintfairy honestly with your friend, she's going to feel how she feels. You are a good friend to worry about this already and I'm sure you will be sensitive about it. I think minster is right about a text. Hopefully she will have her own good news soon 🤞

blackcurrantqueen · 19/11/2021 21:51

@paintfairy I think what minster said would be perfect for your friend! Xx

Vil10 · 19/11/2021 22:29

@clolo @larrythelizard @blackcurrantqueen @Lexber @Minster2012 @paintfairy @bez91 Thankyou ladies!! I'll keep you all updated🤞🏼

@Franklydear well they rang me back this afternoon and said they'll be needing our full and final offer in an email before 11am on Monday, including proof of ID, proof of our house sale going through and proof of funds, but the only problem is they sound like they're just taking everyone's final offers and making the decision based off thst instead of say ringing us back and saying "this person has offered 1k more than you, can you increase your offer" very annoying!!

@Bea14 it's always something that we've spoken about it so the fact it could be happening feels amazing!! You can definitely make the garden your own though!! It's the same here!! So many times me and OH have had viewings booked and haven't even got chance to view it because an offers already been accepted!! Some of the other ladies on here said their appointment letters came through after 4 weeks then their actual appointment was only a few weeks later, I'm hoping that's the case but I'm trying not to get too impatient or else I'll just end up disappointed!

@Lexber it's so exciting!! We both have twins in our family so family have always joked that we might end up with them!

@paintfairy im going to agree with Minster on this (I feel like she's always a good advice giver)

@paintfairy wooo for scan!! And 14th December really isn't far off!!

@DKDK123 so glad everything is okay!!

@blackcurrantqueen aww yess!! So happy x

paintfairy · 19/11/2021 22:29

@blackcurrantqueen @Manifestingbaby yes it sounds like a plan. I'll wait until after the 14th and then deal with it. Unless she randomly brings anything up before.

MegAnne83 · 19/11/2021 23:18

Hello, is anyone still awake?

MegAnne83 · 19/11/2021 23:24

Wasn't active at all last bus as my mother in law sadly passed away

Took a hpt this evening, Internet cheapie on a whim as my boobs still hurt after what I thought was a very heavy but early period last week.

Low and behold I have a faint positive.

Does anyone have any words of wisdom for me as I am totally freaking out about how heavy I was last week. Whole 'period' only lasted around 4 days, when I am usually around 8, but there were small clots for a day and a half.

Manifestingbaby · 19/11/2021 23:40

@MegAnne83 firstly sorry for your loss.

That's pretty confusing for you! Obviously implantation bleeding comes to mind but sounds heavier than would usually be described. What cd/dpo would you be if still in the same cycle? Is it a week since you bled? You could keep testing to see if it gets lighter or darker but really probably best to get a blood test so they can check hcg levels and then again in a few days.

Thank you such for your reply I am literally going crazy!!
Just took a first response and also shows a clear positive though still fainter than control line. I would be day 34 in my cycle, had what I thought was my period at 26 days but because only came of the pill 3 months ago I assumed it was just my body still sorting itself out!

Manifestingbaby · 19/11/2021 23:50

And do you know when you ovulated? That's tough so to know what's normal for you if it's only been 3 months. I can't give you any answers really but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Maybe test in the morning with fmu and you might get a better line.

Sausage1990 · 20/11/2021 00:29

Hi girls - I'm back!!!!

I'm sorry I've been absent for so long. I've been taking some time out of all things baby and TTC related but I'm ready to get back in the game. We're not ttc again until next year but we've had some answers and results back so now I'm in prep mode for hopefully more luck in 2022 and really wanted to reconnect and catch up with you all - I hope you'll have me back.

How are you all? I've missed all of your lovely ladies 💕

Franklydear · 20/11/2021 03:41

@Sausage1990!!! Have you back? You were never gone, sister, great you have some answers and a plan
@MegAnne83 sounds confusing, better head to the doctor, I think this isn’t one to hope for the best
Ds got me up with a headache and a bit of a temp, so calpol and cartoons are in order

DKDK123 · 20/11/2021 04:26

Sorry for the quick dash and run last night, I literally couldn't keep my eyes open any longer to type much more but knew some of you might be worried that something was wrong as it was taking so long to let you know!

Arrived 10mins early for my scan, could hear everyone saying their times checking in and everyone else bar 1 was after me so was rather relieved as I REALLY needed to pee. (The fibroid squishes against my bladder so having a full bladder for the scan is not comfortable). While sitting waiting I noticed a preg lady (def further along than her 12 week scan) come out one of the scan rooms go to the loo then back into the scan and immediately my heart sank as I knew she wasn't getting good news as usually you don't get to go pee till your way out but they'd obviously told her to go before bringing her back in to tell her something. Sure enough her and her husband then came out of the room looking upset and were ushered down a different corridor away from the waiting room. It really hit home again that things can go wrong at any stage, I was already anxious going in but after seeing that my levels went thru the roof and every second waiting was torture and I was nearly in tears for this poor woman that I didnt even know. 😢
Half an hour past my appointment time and I still hadn't been seen and by then I was seriously about to wet myself. Not only that but the waiting room had already emptied of all the people who had came in with appointments after me so I was now anxious, about to wet myself and full of hormonal rage 🙈 So I literally waddled up to reception trying not to pee myself to ask why everyone else was getting seen before me (probably wasn't as calm as I should have been as it wasn't the receptionists fault), she checked the system and said erm you're booked for room 2 (the one the lady with bad news came out of), there was a bit of an emergency in there but I'm sure you'll be seen soon. Now I understand things like that happen but they had 4 rooms on the go surely rather than make one person sit 40mins you put them in another room just pushing everyone back by 5/10 mins till it all catches up!? I was on the verge of cancelling my appointment as I literally couldn't hold my pee any longer when finally I was called. Couldn't enjoy the scan one bit as every press of the thing on my stomach was agony because I needed to go so much that I was now in physical pain. Of course I was completely relieved when I saw baby's heart was still beating but that was the only part I took in. It was not an enjoyable experience at all and I can't even remember anything about what I seen or what she said about baby. I'm so glad I had the private scan 2 weeks ago so that I have the memories of that instead!
I know I shouldn't moan as my baby is alive and healthy but what should have been a joyous experience just had a total dampner put on it and we didn't come away from the hospital with that 'yeay we're actually having a baby glow'.
But for now baby is there, baby is healthy and I need to keep believing that all is going to be fine now. Have an appointment with the consultant in 2 weeks to discuss what the plan of action is going forward as my last pregnancy wasn't great. I've a feeling she's going to say it'll be another automatic c section under GA at 38 weeks latest but I'm prepared to hear it so that I can't be too disappointed if it is the plan (although I'm going to try push to be awake at least).
And I've booked a private gender scan for 18th Dec so looking forward to that shall treasure the memories from that one instead 😊

Sorry, big middle of the night rant 😂 shall go back see what I've missed from everyone now

Franklydear · 20/11/2021 04:26

Well, if I am at 4 in the morning, you lot need a thread

DKDK123 · 20/11/2021 04:50

@Juno231 did you enjoy starfishing with the bed to yourself last night? Hope you're well rested and have a great time at the wedding today.

@vil10 sounds like the project house would be ideal, keeping fingers toes and everything crossed that you guys have the highest offer 🤞🤞🤞 Enjoy the party today.

@paintfairy I agree that by txt is best rather than face to face so that your friend doesn't have to hide how they're feeling and it'll give her time to process it. You could even say in the txt 'I know it might stir up mixed emotions for you given the difficulties you've faced, so don't feel that you have to reply, I just didn't want you to hear the news from someone else further down the line when you weren't expecting it.' Either way the fact that you're considering her feelings I'm sure she'll appreciate what a good friend you are and be happy for you. One of my friends sent me a private message with a heads up before announcing her pregnancy to the friends group chat and I really appreciated that thought.

@blackcurrantqueen so happy to hear all went well with yours today too......even if it was a non compliant baby 😂

@meganne83 sorry to hear about your MIL 😔 I'd keep testing to see if there's any line progression, the heavy period may sadly have been a chemical pregnancy and you may still have some hcg left in your system giving faint positives just now. Or you may be one of those people that do get periods during their pregnancy but if it's a week past your period I'd have thought the line would be quite dark by now. Keep taking tests or get a blood test at the docs so they can confirm if your hcg is rising or falling. Shall keep everything crossed your body's just messing with you and its a good outcome.

@Sausage1990 welcome back, I was just thinking about you the other day and hoping you were doing OK. 😊 Glad to hear you're sounding in a positive mindset with going forward on the ttc front, you know you've got a whole bus backing you all the way.

Kirky658 · 20/11/2021 06:51

@lexber oh hun you're in the wars! Low BP is just as scary as high BP as well. Take care!
@vil10 woohooo on the house fab news, hope your offer gets accepted!
@dkdk123 glad all is OK with the scan
@paintfairy tbh I would just be honest and tell her. The longer you leave it the more upset she will likely be I'd have thought

So Alice just slept in till now, yay!!! I have a bloody awful chesty cough and it's making me feel shitty. Didn't actually start my therapy as such this week it was more doing the groundwork ready to start next week 😬

Kirky658 · 20/11/2021 06:52

@sausage1990 yayyyy you're back, missed you!

bez91 · 20/11/2021 06:53

@Vil10 I know a few that have gone from "offers over" to "best and final offer" because of the amount of interest. My brother did recently, he's an idiot though and the buyers report has come back absolutely awful. Really hope you get it, best and final offer is a bit of a mind melt!

@DKDK123 that's great news on the scan. I know what you mean about not being enjoyable, I'm like you and read everyone's body language so you kind of know what's going off. There were so many excited women all giddy in the waiting room at my 12 week scan and I just admit I felt incredibly jealous of their optimism and nativity that I didn't have. You have a healthy baby though, hold onto that ❤️

@paintfairy I think Minsters advice is bang on, that's a really tough situation for you both. You can only be honest though

@Sausage1990 welcome back 😍

blackcurrantqueen · 20/11/2021 07:19

@DKDK123 that is so tough for you, and I get what you mean about the rest of the day, but take comfort in the fact that little bean is still snuggled 💕🥰

@Sausage1990 yayyyy you're back 😘😘

Lexber · 20/11/2021 07:38

Oh @DKDK123 I'm so glad baby is good but feel for you for the bad experience especially after everything else ((((hugs)))) I agree they could have just moved the rooms plan about so everyone was seen in good time.

Excited for the 18th December for you!!

Welcome hone @Sausage1990 the seat has been kept warm for you!!

@MegAnne83 I'm sorry I have no advice. I agree keep testing and maybe call the drs next week for clarification? I hope it's good news for you xx

@Kirky658 that's great news Alice slept so well. Fingers crossed to more of those nights!

@blackcurrantqueen we have a non compliant one too! For my 12 week scan I had to go for a walk then come back and even roll on my side as the bottom twin was not playing ball, too one happy as Larry stayed still 🤣 looks like I'm going to have very opposite personalities in these pair 🤣🤣🤣

@paintfairy I think the girls are right, be open and honest with your friend. As much as it may hurt her initially a true friend will put her feelings to one side and be happy for you. It may just take her time. The fact you care so much shows what a good friend you are xx
