When you don’t think about your days as “Monday Tuesday Wednesday” you think of them as “fertile week” or “CD12” we know the feeling.

We’ve tried baby dust (back in early 2020 I think we stopped believing in that!?, we’ve tried chocolate/pizza & sofa sex (remember that? Late 2020, that got a lot of babies!) and now we are onto manifesting, testing, pleading & yet there’s still some unwanted bleeding🤣😂well tough titties we are here to stay til we get those BFPs🤞🏻🙌🏻we just need to rinse out our foofs & get the nurses to wade through our stocking full of old sperm 💦

Whether you are TTC “normally”, IUI/ivf or anything we are a crew that cling together to the bitter end & always ready to help a sister out. We’ve had multiples, some losses so know two lines can be just as terrifying as none, and we’ve got ladies where those two lines are more illusive than a white Christmas 🎅🏻

It costs an embarrassing story for your ticket, doesn’t have to be TTC related as we know laughing when TTC is needed.

@minster2012 I'm sure you find new ways to entertain us each week 🤣 made me extra giggle as someone recommended using vicks on my back, and I have a canenston pessary to do 🙈🤣 will do pessary first lol.

No test results yet, but I got made permanent at my job today!!! My boss gave it me instead of a supervisor who wants to step down to part time! I was gobsmacked .. hard work and long hours paid off. 😁😁😁😁

@InkyPaper grrr that sucks. We had a similar hold up last year with an appointment just never being arranged and results just sitting there ages and no one doing anything 🙄 hope you get moving again soon.

@Minster2012 commiserations to your ring of fire 😂 so basically it's been all bad news. I've not gone into it here or even let myself think about it too much as I'm a bit head in the sand at the moment. We had been told ivf was our only option but have since been told we aren't good candidates for ivf so even though we were very on the fence about going down that route, having it effectively taken away has left things pretty hopeless. There's been so much good news on the bus lately I hate to be a Debbie downer 🙈

@Dollybird89 yes that's fantastic well done!! And no I just do stupid things, then tell you all about it! I've just done my pessary then vicks...in that order!

@Manifestingbaby please don't apologise and say you are a downer, we are all here for each other. So are you not allowed to do the ivf has it been totally taken away? Because let me just remind you when we first did ours we were told to expect failure as my AMH was so low, we were told not to expect any eggs, we got 4 and got 2 embryos, one DS (though transferred not to me). So I urge you if you can try it then try. We were told it would not work, literally "expect failure". And omg I read that thread yesterday so lovely 🤞🏻😻and yes can happen, we've had a fabulous BFP today which proves that 🥰

@Minster2012 I mean we have to go private anyway so I guess it's our money to throw away but ya pretty much the same, expect failure. What was your amh? We have low amh and SA so double hit. I haven't done my research, head in the sand as I said, but I get the impression clinics don't want hopeless cases bringing down their stats 🤣

@Shock123 just saw you were going to start ovulation monitoring tomorrow with CB. If its the one that gives you the smiley faces don't start it tomorrow, there's a specific day on your cycle you need to start it'll tell you on the instructions. If you're still bleeding on an off it might be best to start on a fresh cycle when your body resets and you know for certain which day CD1 is. After a CP your cycle can be a bit wonky, the good news is some people seem to be extra fertile the following cycle so fingers crossed for you 🤞
With regards to the article you posted it does male sense I'm sure we've had it on the bus before. The reason we don't all scream with joy at the sight of a faint line is sadly on this bus we've experienced our fair share of chemical pregnancies and so hold our breath till we see some line progression happening as we sadly know chemicals are all too common. With evap lines too I think when you test early the lines are ao faint it can be hard to say for certain if the line has colour or is grey so that's why a lot of people post and ask if it's an evap line. FR tend to be the easier of the tests to read. Cheapies can be good to scratch the POAS urge or use to determine qhether to use a FR or not but the cheapies most definitely can be dodgy and give false positives ......I did an experiment with a faulty batch once and discovered my tap water was pregnant 😂 so if you get a line on a cheapie we always reach for the FRER next as confirmation. Hope that info helps clear things up?

@Juno231 cute way of telling your OH, can't wait to hear his reaction. Feeling detached is totally normal when you've waited so long, once you see some line progression it'll hopefully help you feel more reassured that this is actually happening and you can start to get excited about it.

@polkadotpixie sorry to hear the witch showed up. No idea if doctors rest but to be on the safe side just lie and say its been 6 months after the mc that you've been trying. Things can be so painfully slow to get rolling that it may very well be 6 months before you get referred anyways!

@kaylsd you were obviously very well thought of at your work. Good luck for the new job on Monday, you'll be amazing.

@InkyPaper how frustrating, I'd be raging too! Hopefully it will all run smoother once the fuck up has been sorted out.

@Manifestingbaby rant away, you're not bringing us down that's what we're all here for to celebrate in each others happiness and be there to support when the times get shitty. Sounds like you're definitely in need of a bus load of support right now. As @minster2012 said please don't give up, it's not impossible for it to happen. I know quite a few ladies on the bus have had OH with sperm issues, maybe worth chatting to them on ways to improve the sperm if possible before trying the IVF give yourself the best shot going?

@minster2012 the women's reply to that email was far calmer than mine ever would have been! 😲

DS drew a picture and gave it to me, he said its our family all holding hands, daddy, baby, me and him, yes I cried, he's going to be an amazing big brother. When he leaves to go into nursery now he gives me a kiss goodbye then kisses my belly and says goodbye to the baby, my hormones can't handle this level of sweetness right now, he has me a mess every time 😭🥰

@Shock123 my cycles are meant to be short, not always, told me to start on d6, still showing flashing smileys on cd 11, luckily in this case as we are not having the energy to get up to much

It’s the clear blue fertility monitor the new model you have to start your cylce first day of period so I have done that and I’m on day 6 and tested this morning says low but I won’t get high for a few days you get high for about 6 then peak for 2 days then high one day then low so I have read in op posts I used it with my daughter I did the gender sway so only bd on days before I new my peak was coming so the boy sperm wasn’t there to meet egg lol worked 😂😂

@Shock123 I've not seen the new monitors, that'd be far easily starting on CD1 than having to remember on whatever day it was with the old monitors! That's interesting on the gender sway, are you trying for a particular one this time round?

@Manifestingbaby ah I see, private yeah I guess so, my AMH when we first did it my AMH was 2.1. (That's when we got 2 embryos from 4 eggs) When we retested it this year they said if my AMH was under 1 they wouldn't go ahead so above that there's still chance? The low SA yes I get also and issue but as @DKDK123 said there's been good success on this thread for low sperm results

@Shock123 oooo you did the sway for your girl that's interesting, I've been Googling shettles method to try work out what I might be having and EVERYTHING points to a boy, we DTD twice on my peak day (but also 3 times 3 days before that) so guessing thems males sperm would be the ones that wooed my egg 😂we will see tomorrow!

@DKDK123 you have got me crying with your DS omg that's soooooooo 🥰, you and @bez91 ahhhh your kids are so sweet. I know DS will be the same, yesterday when we were lying in bed in the morning & my head was exploding he said "mummy you can have my teddy to make you feel better, he will kiss you better"

@Dollybird89 fantastic news! And you got it so quickly too, you must have worked hard to impress them so soon :)

Had nightmares all night about taking pregnancy tests for OH. Kept getting them wrong, losing them, getting distracted etc. One of them even told me I wasn't pregnant and that I had cancer instead!

Anyway, as you can see I got my 1-2 weeks! So I told OH this morning ♥️. He first read the card that says "guess what?" On the outside and "you're going to be a daddy" on the inside and immediately teared up with a squeaky puppy voice "really??". Now I'll have you know we've been together 12 years and I've never seen the man tear up! He's been asking a million questions since - including whether I can cross my legs until the 1st September and what star sign the baby will have 🤣

@manfestingbaby can I help you down the rabbit hole vibes at the moment? My DH has bad SAs in every parameter, he’s now taking Brazil nuts thanks to @inkypaper and takes multivitamins in conceive plus as one of my old colleagues/ urology consultant I used to work for recommended it for sperm quality over the proxceed he’s also tried but didn’t make a difference on numbers; it would be amazing for a BFP before IVF 12 DPO and can feel the witch AF cramps start.. it’s a nice thought one day 🥺❤️

Rectified now and they get the copy of the results what they need to proceed with things? Hate speed bumps in the road like that! Could you ask for a copy yourselves incase the clinic don’t receive them? We did this with our special case letters and they didn’t receive them in the post but managed to upload them on behalf instead? Is this NHS too? If so can you complain to pals? It’s out of order really your treatment :(

Happy Friday everyone! Got 3 days off before new job Monday, going to spend it seeing family on both sides & being festive with Christmas films and maybe a few Gins! 12 DPO and can feel AF lurking.. I like the thought of a Christmas BFP but I don’t mind either as it’ll set in time for a baseline scan for IVF a without having wonky cycles what used to be my style a few months back! Sending loves to you all xx

@kaylsd yes there's decent line progression I think! Sort of confirmed by the fact that the Digi said not pregnant yesterday but pregnant today! Boo for AF but if she does come I hope she does so in a timely manner for IVF 🤞

Omg @Juno231 that's so sweet!!! What star sign will it be?! Cross your legs to make it an older one in the year I guess? When would DD be do you think? Most 1st babies go over time so there's hope! Have you worked out what it means for your mat leave? Obviously that was a factor for the ivf for you

@DKDK123 thanks. I'm definitely not giving up. In fact I don't think it's really sunk in. It's like it's someone else's situation, if that makes sense? We've known about the poor SA for a few months so he's on supplements and eating nuts and oranges. He's pretty healthy in general. Goood weigt, doesn't drink or smoke. Hopefully it helps in the long run but there wasn't much time between eventually getting the first bad results and doing the second SA. That's a really good explanation of the realities of testing you gave Shock. That's what I love about this bus. People always take the time to answer others and help where they can x you're DS is adorable ❤

@Franklydear hugs love. The meh is hard ❤ what cd are you? I think we are fairly in the same place. Any static yet?

@Minster2012 is that pmol or ng? It's so confusing 🙈 I haven't looked into ivf yet so not sure if different clinics have their own cut offs. We've decided to just chill for Dec anyway and enjoy Christmas and make all of this 2022's problem. Really going to try to reduce stress...supposed to be doing less screen time but that's not going so well 😂 you've another adorable DS ❤

@kaylsd thanks. He is eating nuts and oranges. Think it's proxceed he's taking. Didn't make a difference but he was only doing these things a while between tests as we were ages waiting for the he first results. Congratulations on tbe new job. Enjoy the few days off x
