Bfp but panicky

Hi all

My partner and I started ttc our 2nd child together in April using opks and the premom app and we're shocked to get bfp the first month of trying ( just turned 40 so was expecting it to take some time) unfortunately I miscarried at 8 weeks. In July we had a chemical and after that we stopped using the app and put ttc on back burner.

Fast forward to Friday, I was doing a routine lft and it started me thinking about poas. Then I realised I was late. I didn't have a hcg test in the house so did an opk which came back as a strong positive (1.6 on the app). So Saturday I bought 2 clear blue tests which both showed positive. Still not convinced I ordered 2 frers from amazon which arrived yesterday, I tested on frer yesterday and then on a clear blue digital which said pregnant 1-2.

I know it sounds that after 4 positive tests I should be convinced but I'm worried about how dark the line is from this mornings frer and I assume that as my period is late then the digital should show 2-3 weeks not 1-2.

I've attached this mornings frer result, I'm not 3 days after expected period. Also if its relevant, it took a while for the line to appear it wasn't instantaneous.

I can't help thinking it's going to go wrong again and I'm so worried.

Bfp but panicky

That line couldn't be much stronger on the FRER. I wouldn't get hung up on the weeks indicator. That is a definite BFP, congratulations

Thank you. I noticed something was amiss with my last 2 pregnancys due to the weeks indicator being less than I expected. I know it could be completely different this time and actually, I have no idea when I ovulated as I wasn't testing.

When was AF due? I would try and wait until the end of the week if you can then do another weeks test.

Hi OP, when I fell pregnant, my frer looked like yours - glaring positive and I also had 1-2 weeks on the cb digital. DD is now almost 2. Please try not to worry yourself, I can imagine it is so tough after your losses but that is a very definite positive Flowers

Thank you ladies. I feel like I should be overjoyed but I'm just frightened

That's a nailed on positive! I've seen much lighter ones online for the cycle day you're at/ read their stories and they turned out to be ok. Fingers crossed and I recommend doing a FRER same time each morning with 2 days apart to see the line progression. xx

I've now run out of tests so I can't feed the poas addiction.

I will wait a few days and test again.

Thank you all for your replies x
