New pregnancy after ERPC?

Hi everyone

Just looking for some advice really.
I had a MMC last month and an ERPC on 20th October. I bled for 10 days. Took a Waitrose pregnancy test on the 7th day and was positive. Another on the 10th day and it came back negative.
The past week I've been feeling PMS symptoms, especially cramps and achy legs but no bleed has come. I felt this way when I got pregnant previously so I took a FRER today and it came back positive - faint, but positive.
Sorry for the long story. I will wait a couple of days and test again but I'm wondering how likely it is that this test is picking up existing pregnancy hormones left over from the miscarriage that perhaps weren't by the less sensitive Waitrose test, or if there is any way that this could be a new pregnancy? We haven't been using protection.
Has any one been in this situation or had a successful pregnancy soon after a miscarriage? I'm wondering if the line is still there/gets darker early next week to call the doctors to monitor hormones or if this is too OTT?
Thank you x

Sorry for your loss Flowers

This happened to me at the start of the year. Positive test five weeks after the procedure so EPU scanned me expecting more retained products however it was a new pregnancy and I am currently sat breastfeeding my resulting little one.

Likely to be new given your negative result however it might be best to contact your gp/epu just in case. Fingers crossed for you!
