Ovulation Question

Hi ladies. I have been using both Femometer and One step OPK to track ovulation. I have attached a picture of the femometer results. I am on day 3 of a peak. I am confused to when I would ovulate. I have had creamy(not egg white) mucus for the last 3 days including today. I read that once the surge is detected then ovulation takes place 12-36 hours after. Is this right or is it at decline of the surge. Does any one else get a peak for 3 days? Second pic are the results of the test I took at 3pm.

How long are your cycles? Ovulation is normally from the first surge but this many peak results can be an indicator of pcos - in which case it's possible you're getting positive tests without ovulating.

Only way to confirm is to start tracking your temperature as well

I also suggest getting tested for PCOS, it causes abnormally high LH levels.

@Hopefull1981 I also have a long stretch of positive OPKs before ovulation. This cycle they started from CD9 and I didn't ovulate (confirmed through temping) until around CD19. I did find that the cheap strip tests almost always were positive for me however clearblue only gave me my flashing and then static smiley 1-2 days prior to actually ovulating!

Thanks ladies. I have a regular cycle 29 days on average. We have had a MMC and 2 chemical pregnancies this year so we are doing fertility investigations. All bloods so far a normal for myself. Had a scan on Wednesday so waiting to get the results Tuesday this week.

Sorry to hear about your MMC and chemicals. I hope your test results come back all clear and lots of baby dust to you x

Hi ladies I got the results of my scan. No PCOS detected. Waiting for an appointment with fertility consultant now. In the TWW now so who knows maybe we might be lucky. Thanks again for the responses.
