Hi! This is my first month of BBT, my thermometer didn’t arrive till half way through so just started when I could.

Do you think 8dpo looks like an implantation dip? I was a little disheartened this morning with a small rise 0.1 since the dip but maybe it can take a bit longer to climb? I guess at least it hasn’t gone down more! Any thoughts on my chart from experienced BBT’ers would be amazing. Still getting creamy CM every day.

Looks good so far! There's technically no such thing as an implantation dip - it's just common to have a secondary estrogen surge around 8dpo that causes a drop in temp.

Don't worry too much about LP temps in - once they've confirmed ovulation they're not all that useful as anything could mean either a BFN or BFP, there's not much logic to it really.

You've got a great rise after ovulation! I was just as likely to get an "implantation" dip when I got a bfp as a bfn so I wouldn't read to much into that, as long as temps stay above base line it's a good sign.

Thank you both! Will just keep tempting and hopeful it stays above the cover line.

Hi @ShootingStar16

How's is the bbt tracking going?

It's my first month tracking it and trying to figure it all out!!

ShootingStar16 · 18/11/2021 15:13

Hi @HollyB7

I actually ended up getting my BFP!! Couldn’t believe it, 12dpo. I am just off the pill (I was on it for 10 years) 8 weeks ago and didn’t even have a proper period apart from the withdrawal bleed! I am now 4+1 and excited but a little nervous! This is my chart :-)

Hi. Congrats!

What thermometer and app did you use to track BBT if you don't mind me asking? X

Amazing!!! Congrats! That's great to hear.

The world of bbt charting seems so daunting but will hopefully get it figured out!!

Thank you everyone! I used natural cycles and their app and thermometer. I found it really easy to use and lots of information on there too.

You will get used to it in no time. I had a night out my first week of it and it was crazy how high my temps went, I also was on antibiotics so I wrote my temps off completely that week and then started around CD13 and it was much easier to see a pattern after that :-).

Thank you @ShootingStar16 can their thermometers be found on Amazon? X

ShootingStar16 · 22/11/2021 09:16

I got off the natural cycles website for £10! X

@ShootingStar16 congrats! Just as a reply to @sk96x you seem to be using the fertility friend app per the pics? Rather than natural cycles

ShootingStar16 · 22/11/2021 14:11

I used both apps! I found the graph on fertility friend to be easier to interpret than the one on NC but it was great for using every morning 5am and all the advice that came with the app :-)
