8dpo is fine so don't worry about the timing.

37 confirms ovulation so that's fine too. Perhaps a bit on the lower end though but looks like you've had a good result overall!

Hi
Just wonder where you got this info from? Google says anything over 10 is normal?

This is what I found

After ovulation, progesterone is produced increasingly from the corpus luteum and the progesterone levels gradually rise from a baseline of 1.5 to 3 ng/mL by the first day after ovulation. Levels then continue to rise until it reaches a peak 7 days after ovulation reaching levels of approximately 10-20 ng/mL.

@Nikkic2123
That sounds fine, mine was 16.5 when I had it tested doc said it was grand but 16 is borderline so mine on the rather low side, have had 4 miscarriages and 1 cp and will get progesterone from my next bfp, but going to ask my consultant can I have it from after ovulation to c if it helps.

Thanks
I'm going to ring the doctors tomo and ask how it can be 66.2 in April and 37.1 now.
Both taken 7dpo

@Nikkic2123 mine is based on my clinic accepting anything over 30nmol/l as ovulation and most NHS trusts seem to have the same guideline if you Google it? If under 30 it's advised to retest to confirm ovulation.

How certain are you of your dpo? That's the main bit that would explain a drop from 66 to 37 - timing of the test.

Nikkic2123 · 10/11/2021 20:34

April was 7dpo confirmed by opk
November was 8DPO confirm by opk xx

@Juno231
Mines is on the rather low side at 16.5 could be a reason for my miscarriages, deffo going to ask about progesterone from ovulation of my rmc consultant, I'm on another thread ttc after a miscarriage and a girl on there had losses and the month she took progesterone after ovulation she conceived and is now 14 weeks pregnant.

@Babyghirl that sounds wise! 16 would make me uneasy as it does seem it could contribute to MCs. It's madness you have had to go through so many before getting any help though!

@Nikkic2123 tbf with opks you won't know when you ovulated exactly. I track with bbt and sometimes it confirms I ovulated the day of my peak opk or eg this cycle I got my peak on a Friday and didn't ovulate until the Wednesday as I then got another peak a few days later.

Babyghirl · 10/11/2021 23:39

@Nikkic2123
@Juno231 is right your body can gear up to ovulate but not that's where a second peak can come in, I use to bbt its the most reliable, stopped over a year ago as it was stressing me out though but going to start it again after my period ends.

@Juno231
You have to go through 3 losses before they will test you or investigate, its awful going through it 3 times before you get help.

The opk does seem to be correct, my period comes roughly 2 weeks after the peak x

@Nikkic2123
Do your bbt for a few months and you will get a better pattern see if the temp rise matches your opks, I norm ovulate on CD 11 and have a 28 day cycle so my lp is norm 16 days long. It can be as sort as 10 days or as long as 16 gives you more in site to how long yours might be.

Nikkic2123 · 11/11/2021 09:22

I wouldn’t be up for doing my bbt is adding stress to an already stressful situation, as it can rise days after ovulation, also I be up through the night so wouldn’t work for me.

I’ll speak to docs today and update you all 😃

Docs just said that your progesterone can fluctuate from cycle to cycle and it is to do with thickening the lining of your womb and also if you have ovulated, for both those reasons my result was fine this month but for piece of mind will repeat it in December
