Hello all, I'm new here!
My partner and I have decided to start ttc this month after ten years together, which is very exciting! Looking forward to (hopefully) being able to participate in more threads further on and get to know you all a bit
I have a question about the fluid produced after a female orgasm/arousal. I haven't been able to find much information about the make up of it. The role of female orgasm in conception seems to be that it although definitely not required for conception, it certainly isn't a bad thing, and estrogen released helps you relax and sends all the right signals through your body, but does the actual fluid help?
Sorry if it's TMI!
Given that thr fluid tends to be stretchy and slipper (like EWCM) I would assume it's certainly not a bad thing to help sperm mobility?
I only ask because I don't tend to notice any EWCM during my cycle, yet don't have a problem orgasming - does the fluid produced create a nice happy environment for the little swimmers? Is it just an additional bonus to whatever CM you have, or does it still depend on where you are in your cycle as to the acidity etc of it?
Does anyone have any thoughts on the matter?
Hope it makes sense, I was a little embarassed about this being my first post but it's something I've been wanting to know!
Thanks!
