Implantation bleeding?

Hi just looking for some advice I had my period 2 weeks ago & had sex that morning before it started and yesterday I was bleeding but it’s gone already?! So confused as I’m not due my period to near the end of the month! Could it be implantation bleeding??

It doesn't sound like implantation bleeding with it being so soon after your period. How long are our cycles usually? Implantation bleeding usually occurs on or around the date that your period would be due!

I'm no expert though, I'm here as I was just about to start a similar thread . I'm 16DPO (I think - I don't always ovulate at all), had a few tiny pin prick spots of red blood yesterday when wiping and nothing since. No usual symptoms of AF on her way but I'm nearly 3 years into TTC so I daren't do a test after seeing so many BFNs over the years.

@ChristmasJumpers at 16dpo you should be safe to test I think?

@Bundaberg84 I'm hesitant because I don't really know if I ovulated - I only base it off ewcm. I think I'll give it 2 more days and test if AF doesn't show

@Bundaberg84 my period started the 22nd of October so 18 days ago but bleed yesterday and I only have blood when I wipe today that’s it. Maybe my body is just going through something!

Okay let me try to recap. Your period was 18 days ago, which will make you cd18. Your cycle is around 29 days. A regular luteal phase is somewhere at 14 days. That would mean your ovulation is anywhere around cd15.
So based on that you're around 3dpo, unless of course you have a very long luteal phase, but that still wouldn't make you much more than 5dpo. On average, implantation occurs around 9dpo, so I think you're too early for that.
It could also be that you ovulated now, which would also be possible (you'd have a luteal phase of 12 which is "normal" as well). Some women experience a bit of spotting around ovulation.
Or it could be DTD related of course.
Whatever it is, I hope you get the outcome you wish for :)

I think if it's not a bit of spotting after sex (this can happen sometimes), it is spotting caused by ovulation, which can also happen. I'd probably DTD asap just in case!
