Strong ovulation symptoms

Hi all,

My and my partners have been TTC #1 for nearly a year.

I usually ovulate between CD20-22 and cycles are usually around 32days.

This month I started testing (clearblue advance digital) on CD14 and got a low reading. On CD16 my reader didn't register 🤦🏻‍♀️ so thought I'd just test again on CD17 and it'll be okay because it's still early for me.

CD17 I had EWCM and thought hmm that's weird. I don't always get it, and it's a bit early. I tested later that day and got my static smiley... quickly followed by cramping, sore nipples and gas.

I've never had an ovulation with loads of symptoms. I could have predicted it without the OPK. I'm not sure if it works this way, but does it mean we have a better chance this cycle? Has anyone got their BFP after strong ovulation symptoms? X

@Frandler hi! I always get quite strong symptoms and can feel the side in which I ovulate - no BFP for me yet. I have a 32 day cycle and always get my static on day 17. Are you sure you usually ovulate between 20-22? Have you been vaccinated recently or started any new supplements? X

Hi @FlyOnTheWall89 thanks for the reply!

As I said, I never usually get strong ovulation symptoms. Probably only noticed EWCM 3-4 times since TTC, never get ovulation cramping or sore boobs until AF is due.

My cycles are usually quite predicatable, and the only times I've noticed a change is in the months where I had the vaccines. Cycle became much longer. I had the second dose in August which increased my cycle from 32- just under 40 days 🤷🏻‍♀️ but had a couple of fairly normal (for me) cycles since.

I'm usually waiting for a positive OPK for daaaaaays but it's really weird how it's a few days early.

Maybe just a bit of a weird cycle!
