Any symptoms before testing?!

Did anyone experience any symptoms before getting their BFP?

Yup you may laugh at me though…
My first pregnant I started burping non stop before my expected period and it continued all the way through pregnancy. When we were trying to convince the second baby I was going to test on my period date but I was just sitting watching TV and suddenly I burped the same type of empty burbs twice… I 100% krew i was pregnancy. Jumped out and run to pharmacy and yup the test showed the second line 4 days before my period.

When I was pg with my first, I got really bad insomnia which started the week before I tested. My nipples were also erect all the time haha both symptoms started before the pos fest but during the week my period was due.

I've just had my BFP this morning, I am 2 days late. Had spotting and then it stopped. All I can say is it literally feels as though AF is coming. I had cramps in either side of my ovaries but they were very quick. Achy feeling that was like stretching.
Also dry mouth over past week!

Hiccups. I got the hiccups constantly before testing with my first (and the whole way through!). We weren't trying but that made me test before my period was due because it just felt like I should.

@allthingssparkly is it on one side? And quick?

@Pugmumm Congratulations on your BFP! Its like a short cramping pain that is intermittent, which I can feel at either side. It's noticeable when I get it, seems to have eased a little now. Very strange!

Sounds like what I had but don't want to her your hopes up  @allthingssparkly it does sound very positive though and good luck!!

I had very similar AF symptoms to a point I had spotting a couple of days before AF actually arrived and all of a sudden stopped. A very noticeable one was a dry mouth for past 3 days. Xxx

@Pugmumm How many DPO are you? Maybe I need to test sooner, I don't think I can wait much longer! I haven't had any spotting or anything but I suppose everyone is different. Did you test with a FRER? X

@allthingssparkly I use the internet cheapies, the thin HCG strips. I had a very clear positive with morning urine today. I tested completely negative even 1 day late by testing in the afternoon! (I am 2 days late).... I was testing in the afternoon and not using morning wee so that's really important to do.
I am 15 DPO I think

I am going to test at lunch time today with a first response just to be sure!! Xxx

@Pugmumm Ahh that's brill 😊 I'm 12 DPO today and am a little nervous to test! I don't want any disappointment 😬

It's an emotional roller coaster. I didn't get a hint of a BFP until today and that's 15 DPO at least, and with the spotting it feels like AF is showing and cramps. Even when I tested it took a full 5/6 minutes to show.

I would say take a first response a couple of days before AF is due in the morning only

With my dd, I had no symptoms beforehand, literally just got a bfp unexpectedly.

My only symptom before a positive test was that everything smelt really strong to the point where it was almost unbearable! I’d never had a very good sense of smell prior to that.

On and off today I just keep getting cramping I literally feel like AF is going to arrive anytime even though I'm not due on yet 🙈

All 3 pregnancies I've had similar symptoms prior to getting a BFP. My symptoms have always been bloating, heartburn, needing a wee often, tender breasts, period like cramps, feeling hot, mood swings and feeling a little more tired than usual. All the symptoms were very mild and could easily be mistaken for PMS.
With DS1 I also became quite clumsy, it was very strange. And with my current pregnancy I felt like I was coming down with the flu the same weekend I as my BFP.

I have bought some cheap pg tests for now, will test in the morning x

I’ve been getting cramps and lower stomach feels tight, headaches on and off, feeling hungry all the time and today I though I got my period as I felt something but it was just a lot of discharge, sorry TMI I’m not due my period till the end of next week. I had this with my previous pregnancy - bad cramps, achy legs etc all the P,MS symptoms but too early to be period symptoms so I took a test and was positive. Fingers crossed for you x
