Hi ladies, I was wondering if anyone could share their early pregnancy experiences, how soon after bfp did you start to feel sick how long did mild cramping last if you experienced this? How soon did vivd dreams begin for you?

Got my first BFP at 8 weeks, had sore boobs, weird taste in mouth and some very very slight nausea from week 2 ish. Not sure if they were pregnancy induced as I was going through some stress at the time but they were definitely there!

Second BFP was at 6 weeks and I'd had sore boobs and splitting headaches since 4 ish weeks. No weird taste but I did go off tea and coffee and DH's aftershave made me heave.

Last 3 pregnancies I didn't have any symptoms but found out early (1-3 weeks) because we were testing so often.

I've never had vivid dreams though!

Thanks for replying I don't usually recollect my dreams bit for the last few nights they are very vivid ill see how it goes xx

@HelplesslyHoping can I ask re your comment with your bfp had you tested prior to this or was it that you only tested at 8 weeks? Xx

@mummyjojo19 I tested at 5 weeks and it was negative, then again at 8 weeks and had bfp. Only tested beause I'd had the weird symptoms and then tested again because they hadn't gone away.

Do you think you're expecting? xx

Yes I had the attached test last Thursday but all since have been negative no sign of af feeling constantly sick shattered to the point I am having to take a nap in the afternoons and been having af cramps on and off for around a week so don't know what to think x

Also tender and veiny breasts xx

@HelplesslyHoping sorry one more question when you got your bfp at 8 weeks we're you 8 weeks pregnant at the time? Sorry if that sounds really stupid x

I can definitely see the line! Have you tried a digital test? They're generally a bit more reliable (but more expensive). Your symptoms definitely suggest you are. If you haven't contacted your GP already you can now.

It's not stupid! I was 8 week pregnant yes, I had it confirmed when I had my first scan they dated the pregnancy. The test I took at 5 weeks just didn't detect the baby, but I was pregnant at the time.

Your line looks like mine did with my last pregnancy!
To answer your questions, with all my pregnancies I felt sick around the 7-8 week mark. Got my BFPs around 4-5 weeks.
I only had cramping with my last baby and it wasn’t mild at all. It was so severe I actually resigned myself to a miscarriage but it only lasted one day in around week 5 or so and baby was fine thankfully!
I never had vivid dreams though with any of mine

I will try and get a digital this evening to see what happens still no sign of af and tugging and pulling in the lower tummy. Still feel wet (sorry tmi) as if af is coming x
