First period for years!

I'm so excited, I've finally had my first period for about 4 years! My periods stopped when I started taking the pill and then 3 years ago, went into the depo jab. My partner and I have decided to have a last chance attempt to have a baby as I turn 40 next year.

I'd done lots of reading about coming off of the depo jab, and had my last one in March. My hormones have been all over the place, mood swings like I've never had before in my whole life!!! I've always had a high sex drive, but it's fine through the roof since stopping the injection and fortunately my partner is not complaining about that!

I've finally started my first period, it started off really strangely with almost black, really thick blood, but the next day it was like a normal period. Now all I'm hoping that it will end like a normal period and I can take this as another step closer in my return to fertility!

@Farcry66 how exciting 😆
I had the nexplanon implant for 9 years.
My cycles fell into a regular pattern almost immediately thankfully
I hope the same happens for you and that you conceive really soon ☺️xx
