@LillyWithTwoLs symptom spotting is a nightmare isn't it... literally every little ping pang pain I wonder if something is happening! Very sorry to hear about your losses and keeping my fingers crossed for you for this month x

Just back trying again after pandemic threw everything for a loop. Now looking at a 6 yr age gap between baby 1 and potential baby 2. 6 days PO today so will have to stop myself from testing til the weekend

@Ballygowenwater yes the pandemic is a bit of a disruption to all sorts isn't it? I had my first baby during first lockdown after having just moved to a new village, and to a house that needed lots of DIY. It wasn't a good time at all not being able to have husband at scans / all of birth etc and then to see anyone etc with my newborn. So I'm looking forward to a better second time round ... hopefully! 🤞

A bigger gap has lots of advantages in some ways and I have 6 years between me and my sisters (they are twins) and we have an amazing relationship / friendship now x

@xoxo321 thank you! I've been nervous about making this decision - should we / shouldn't we - our little bubble is pretty lovely right now and I worry that it will ruin things. But then there's more of a draw to having another and I think we'd regret not trying further down the line. If it happens it happens... and it if it doesn't then so be it. But I obviously want it to happen NOW that we've made the decision! Patience is not my strong point!

What's your situation? X

Ah @xoxo321 33 is still young! That's the age I was when I conceived my daughter and I still feel like that was a good age! Unless you're wanting 10... I think you'll be ok!

Hi all :) I’m O tomorrow, so almost in our tww!
We’re trying for our second, been doing smep this cycle and feeling really excited about it. Hopefully this is our month. Our little one is 2 1/2, so really excited to bring a sibling along soon hopefully!

@mrsS21 I’m also trying SMEP for the second month, although due to my long cycles I sometimes don’t manage it and do a day and skip 2, but I have covered either side of my positive OPK so 🤞! Will carry on with every other day for another few times, just incase, as I’m not convinced I actually ovulated!

Ahh you never know! It only takes once! Did you just do the 4 days before was it? .. I’be convinced myself irs not happening/going to take ages, but I also get so excited during TWW! Such mixed feelings

Absolutely! I also symptom spot like crazy! So is today your predicted ovulation day? Or yesterday? Are you planning to test or just wait and see if AF comes?x

Really similar then with our seconds / ages. Well done for smep ... (and you @Peonies94 ), that's real commitment! My poor DH doesn't know what's hit him this month and couldn't keep up with my demand so we DTD 1&2days before O then day of O and we'll just have to hope for the best! CD18 for me now and usually I have 28 ish day cycles so 10 more days to wait!

Thanks all! Done another test this morning which is slightly darker (well I've done two extra tests this morning lol! Clearblue is very slightly darker but internet cheapie is noticeably darker) x

@mightbeyesmightbeno those are the best days to cover there though! Yeah it hasn’t been a massive success, but I’m trying 😂! It is hard to keep up with it, with busy lives!

@xoxo321 I can’t wait! I tested so much last month, so I am going to try and stop that and hold off until 10DPO but I’ve got cheapies so I’ll probably be testing by then! I’m also out on the weekend after next, so I’ll definitely test by 12DPO, so that I know if to avoid alcohol!

Got really bad cramping today but fairly certain it is just trapped wind as only 3/4dpo! This is cycle 1 trying for no.2 and I told myself I wouldn’t get obsessive about it like I did last time! (Oops)
