Implantation pain?!

I am exactly 6dpo and I had the most intense cramps this morning in my right side abdomen and lower back/bottom it was just the worst. Likened it to contractions. Absolutely savage.
It was gone about 5 mins later but for hours after the area felt tender like I am going to get AF but not due on obviously for another week or so

@Bubsoneandtwo not many women experience implantation cramps, and they are supposed to be mild and can last a while, I think even two to three days on and off. But you should feel it more in the middle of your abdomen, not on the side. But weirder things have happened right?

Bubsoneandtwo · 06/11/2021 16:45

It was pubic area below abdomen right side Confused

Could also not be related at all? Were you lying or standing when it happened?

Bubsoneandtwo · 06/11/2021 20:23

Lying when it started

What else could it be though?? Quite a worrying pain

Could be implantation yes but it's not experienced by everyone. After implantation (if) has occurred the HCG will be detectable so leave it a few days I would say and then maybe test. Good luck 🤞🏻

Don't want to get your hopes up but I had horrendous pain the month I got pregnant. It lasted around 20 mins and I felt very tender afterwards. Never had it before and haven't had it since around ovulation so pretty sure that's what the pain was. Fingers crossed for you!!

Bubsoneandtwo · 06/11/2021 23:14

I have this feeling it may be implantation
Honestly it was really bad. 😥😥 8 days till period so will be testing and reporting back in here what it was
Thanks all 🤞

5DPO I had cramps for a short while, literally 20 mins or something and I did think ooo maybe implantation?? But about 40 mins later I had an slightly upset stomach so I thought oh no maybe that was why.... but actually I was pregnant! And I really do think that was what I felt 🤞🏼 hope it's same for you

xoJellyBean · 07/11/2021 00:27

It sounds more like a cyst rupturing!

Bubsoneandtwo · 07/11/2021 01:06

Oh god I hope not

Thank you! @bearhunt1 ! That would amazing x

Pugmumm · 07/11/2021 20:00

Are you going to test @Bubsoneandtwo x

Pugmumm · 08/11/2021 09:13

I've had my BFP today and can say it felt as though I was coming on as normal... implantation 'feeling' is very similar. If you feel you are getting your AF there is still a chance. I even had spotting which I was conceived was my AF then it just stopped.

Bumblenums1234 · 08/11/2021 13:18

When I was pg I had these pains after sex. It was like a burning pain but went off quite fast. I think i had the first one the week before my pos test. I think that may have been implementation but who knows!

Bubsoneandtwo · 08/11/2021 14:07

@Pugmumm ahhh yay congratulations that’s amazing
I have the cheap tests here but still too early for me I’m due on in 7 days

Bubsoneandtwo · 08/11/2021 14:10

I had implantation pain and a bit of a bleed. Had no idea what was was going on at the time....in fact i was sipping a margarita when it started! It wasn't anywhere near as bad as you describe but that's not to say it isn't that....

Moonshine11 · 08/11/2021 14:14

I done IVF and had implantation cramps but they weren't painful, more an achy feeling

Oopsie123 · 08/11/2021 18:25

I'm 6dpo too and experiencing cramps in the middle of my abdomen, more mild. Also feeling a bit nauseous.

I keep testing even though I know it's early 🙈
