Cramps and Testing

I've been experiencing very mild cramps this morning and I wouldn't usually.

Period due Wednesday.

If I test today should I use a FRER?

I'd use a frer for sensitivity but I know some people like to save their frers for when they're closer to af to be sure and not waste it. Did you end up testing?

I've tested tonight with a cheapy one as I couldn't get hold of a FRER it was a negative result. Not sure if I have tested too early!
