@Decaffe Ah, they look far more indicative! Mine are ‘ProMatris’ and the test line has never shown anything for me until now so I’m not sure they’re up to scratch!

@madeleine85 is the cup you used by any chance fertilily? I’ve used it last cycle and struggled to keep it in once inverted. Was fun trying to use though!

@MindZGap and @newjourney21 so sorry about your BFNs! I know they say you're not out until the witch sings though! Even if AF graces you with her presence, you can have whatever kind of Christmas you want then (alcohol or not, soft cheeses, fish and pate options open to you if you like them, and so-on).

I have an overwhelming feeling we (DP and I) haven't been successful this month. But alas I have joined the ILL brigade. I've been in bed all afternoon with flu-like symptoms, I assume from the covid vaccine (not booster) I had yesterday. That's not to say I regret having it (I don't) but I've felt very unwell today.

@KateInHappyland I'm crossing everything for you for tomorrow if you test then! Let us know when you can please.

I'm with @Decaffe - the easy@home tests when used with the Premom app are brilliant. I've been using them for two cycles and have so much more insight into my cycles now.

@Squiff70 congrats on your booster!! The side effects are rotten aren’t they, but so worthwhile in the long run. Hope you’re feeling better. Plenty of people had that “it’s not my month” feeling last month, and tested BFP, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you anyway. As you said though. BFN means wine, cheese, fishes, all the good stuff.

I think I got my peak today after all, so that’s cd 20/21 ovulation on all 3 cycles so far. Guess that’s my pattern. I have a 11 day luteal so far, so af should be due December 23, that will be a nice present 🤦‍♀️. With all the sickness this month, my expectations are low and I have a feeling 2022 is more our year. We’re also Spending the 26th with a close friend who has been trying to get pregnant for years and has had multiple mcs, so in a weird way would rather not be in the early stages and make her feel bad. So if no BFP this month, I think that’s ok with me for once.

Hi all, a few people have mentioned the premom app. So how does it work, do you scan the opk’s? I saw the picture someone posted and am intrigued... and since my non obsessive month didn’t work

The witch came this morning with full force so it’s CD1 for me. Oh well, the egg and/or sperm were not meant to be …

What ive learnt this cycle is that I sometimes ovulate 2 days after my OPK peak, something to keep in mind for next time - I only know it through BBT.

Me next O day is fall on Christmas Day😂👍🎄

@DancinOnTheCeiling yes, you take pic of your OPKs through the app and it reads it for you basically.

I think my AF has got lost. Impatient for her to get here so I can feel like we’ve reset and start the new cycle! My next ovulation date was loosely predicted as the 23rd Dec but will likely change as AF hasn’t bothered to show up on time!

Omg @Mummytobe93 our cycles are in sync I think. Witch also came for me today and also predicted O on Christmas Day.

Have bought myself a more accurate thermometer so I can measure BBT this month and get a more accurate look at my ovulation.

Hi everyone. I only have a few minutes so I'll catch up with you all later tonight once my little one is in bed.

Something a bit strange has happened. For some unknown reason I decided to POAS this morning. I'm 10DPO. I waited about a minute but there was no second line. Deciding it was too early for anything to show on an easy@home test, I flushed away the cup of FMU and set the test aside. I went back upstairs half an hour later and saw this.

Now, I KNOW the test is invalid if its read after a few minutes but would there be a second line at all if there was no HCG in my urine?!

I don't know what to think.

@Squiff70 I saw a post on here a while back from someone who had asked her fertility specialist about this. He said that any line after 3 mins is in fact a positive line, as the test couldn’t turn pink without there being some HCG. I have never forgotten that post! And I remember a few months back I did a FRER, nothing after ten mins but later on a clear pink line - and sure enough it was a positive (later a chemical).

So, on the basis of that poster - and, admittedly against all advice on here - I would actually say to be cautiously optimistic…?!

@Mummytobe93, if your next ovulation date is Christmas Day, out of interest what dates are you hoping to DTD?

Omg @Squiff70 even after 10 min the line wouldn’t appear if there was no HCG I think, plus it’s quite stronge, this ain’t no evap girl you’re pregnant 🙈🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳 congratulations!

@Decaffe well if I had it my way I’d DTD every other day after my period finished but there’s no way my DH could keep up!🙄😂
According to Fertility Friend my peak fertility is 22-25 Dec, so I’ll aim for doing it approximately 4 days before to get rid off the old sperm (🙈) and then either do it on 22nd and 24th or 23rd and 25th. Thing is we usually DTD very late at night, sometimes past midnight so I’ll try do it 22nd and 23rd which actually will cover more key dates I think. 🤞

Obviously that’s all subject to what readings I get on OPK - last cycle I O’d on day 15 which would be the 26th, in that case I’d aim to DTD late on 25th.

Thank you @Mummytobe93 although it's a little early yet! I'm really confused as to why it's showing up on what is essentially an IC at 10DPO. My jaw dropped when I saw it as I genuinely wasn't expecting it so early and don't know why I did one either. I'll do a FRER tomorrow if I can wait that long.
