Testing before period is due!

Has anyone tested exactly a week before their period was due and got their BFP?

I'm so tempted to test but then I keep thinking is it best to just wait?

Hi, personally I would wait a bit yet. I made the mistake of testing at 8,9 and 11dpo (AF due 14dpo this Saturday) and all negative and now I feel stressed and upset and disheartened. Save yourself the upset and the money and wait as long as you can. Good luck x

How many days past ovulation are you? Ive found that a lot of tests give false positives early with a faint line which doesnt go anywhere which leads people to believe they are miscarrying each month so if I was you I wouldnt test before 9dpo to be able to see progression each day, good luck :)

@HRHXO & @stairgates I'm 8 DPO and my period is due 10th November.

I best keep myself busy over the next few days to hold off testing! 🤭

8dpo is too early. 12dpo earliest!

I've had positives at 9 dpo with 3 pregnancies. Always showed on ICs and also the CB words with evening urine. The CB line tests are less sensitive IMO, as those came up negative even when I had 2 other tests showing BFP.

So I'd buy a pack of ICs. Also ovulation test sticks come up positive with a BFP... as I found out when I really liked testing.

I'm the same dpo as you! Can I join 2ww with you? I stupidly tested this morning and obviously negative 😂 I couldn't help myself and I think I just needed to get it out of my system. I'm going to test again on Friday morning (10dpo) as we have friends over in the evening and if it's negative then I'm going to allow myself a glass of wine. Obviously if I get any sort of line I'll be on the alcohol free beer 😁 I really thought I'd be able to hold out until I missed AF but apparently I'm not as strong as I thought!

@PoshWatchShitShoes I took an ov late morning today as it was the only one I had in the house! & Very promptly it came up with a pink line in the test window but I don't know if that means a great deal! (pictures attached)

I haven't been feeling great this week, been exhausted and dizzy. Also soooo bloated but I really think I'm just getting poorly! How are you? X
