Hi everyone,

Looking for a bit of advice. I recently had fertility bloods done along with the AHM test. Bloods are all normal but the AMH came back on the high side( 43.23 pool/L) my age range should be between (0.193 and 39.1). I am going for a TV scan next Wednesday to check for PCOD.

We have been trying since January with 1 MMC and 2 chemical pregnancies. I am wondering has anyone got any experience as to that to expect if it is PCOD? Having a quick Google I wouldn’t have any of of them major symptoms, my periods are very regular.

Appreciate any feedback.. feeling quite in the dark.

Thanks

Hi @Hopefull1981

PCOS is defined by having 2 of the 3 symptoms (irregular periods, elevated androgen levels or polycystic ovaries) so you could still be diagnosed with PCOS.

However in saying that, women with PCO but regular periods, normal androgen levels (and not obese) generally have no TTC issues.

Don't be too down, getting pregnant with PCOS is very common and simple in most cases.

Thank you for the reply. It's funny the GP said it wouldn't be PCOS rather PCOD. I never knew there was a difference. Post my MMC and Chemicals, I have had ultrasounds where nothing was mentioned re any PCOS. We'll see on next week's scans.
