TTC Baby #1 - How long did it take you?

Hi! I am approaching cycle 7 TTC which takes me past the '84% of couples conceive naturally within 6 months'. Not sure where this data is generated and so many friends conceived on cycle 1 or 2. It is hard to not feel like something must be wrong.

Intrigued to hear how long it took you to conceive...

2 years! We were about to start IVF after Christmas. Unexplained infertility. Now in my first trimester (10wks). Good luck!

Spoke to the doctor after nearly a year. Unexplained infertility. Ivf. Best part of three years before we conceived finally I think. If you're over 35, I believe you're advised to see a GP after 6 months of trying.

It took me 8 months in my first pregnancy which I had a mmc with.

I then took another 8 months to fall pregnant with my dd.

I'm now ttc #2 and in the tww of cycle 2. Expecting nothing for months.

Dh and I had private fertility tests and we had excellent fertility. It's just luck!

1 cycle. I was very lucky.
